A record of the initiation ritual of the Nyingma school of secret mantras. A record of the initiation ritual of the Nyingma school of secret mantras. Homage to the Guru. By the appearance of remembering his name, dispelling the darkness of sudden confusion, establishing the supreme path of the four innate bodies, may the all-pervading master protect us. In order to briefly explain the records related to the complete initiation ritual that precedes all paths of Vajrayana. As stated in the Heruka Assembly: "By what is initiated into whom, in order to purify the lineage and obtain power, therefore initiation." Thus, the one who initiates is the teacher, the one who is initiated is the characteristic of the disciple, what is initiated is the classification of initiation, and the fruit of purification obtained from such initiation. The first is, as stated in the Lamrim: "The teacher possesses treasures, is complete like a river, is skilled in lineage and action, and holds the warmth and eight qualities of the oral instructions." The second is, as stated in the Vajrasattva Mayajala: "The teacher diligently makes offerings, his realization is clear, he does not violate vows, mantras, and mudras, he knows and possesses the necessary equipment." And, in particular: "Having faith, diligence, and asceticism, and having realized, he should bestow the beneficial initiation and the initiation of power in sequence." The third is divided into two: a general explanation of the classification, and a separate statement of the chapters. The first is also divided into: essence, definition, classification, how to initiate, the merits of initiation, and the faults of not initiating. The first is: In the four initiations of base, path, and fruit, the support of the channels, winds, and bindus that are originally accomplished, the nature is inherently the same, and there are two causes that work together: the disciple who is suitable as a vessel is the cause of the cause, the teacher who possesses the view is the cause of the master, knowing the ritual of power is the cause of the mind, and dependent arising is the immediate cause, the two causes and four conditions gather to accomplish initiation. As it is said, the co-emergent cause, the nature of reality that originally dwells in its own nature, and the cause that works together, relying on the initiation substances that possess blessings, for the cause of the cause, the disciple who is suitable as a vessel with faith, diligence, and asceticism, etc., the cause of the master, the teacher who can give the beneficial and profound initiation.

. The object of focus, the cause, the substance, the mantra, and the samadhi are combined, possessing extraordinary power. Therefore, the immediate causal power, the former opens the way for the former, and the latter arises from the latter. Relying on such causes and conditions, it is established in the lineage of the Dharma of enlightenment, thereby eliminating sudden defilements and causing the sprout of liberation to manifest and grow, or establishing the seed of certain birth in the continuum. Secondly, derived from the sound of Abhiṣiñca, it means to manifest destruction; derived from the sound of Abhiṣekaṭi, it means to manifest pouring. It destroys the defilements of the three doors of purification, makes it possible to obtain the fruit of the four bodies, which are the result of purification, and establishes the opportunity to cultivate the path of purification in the continuum, hence the name. The Hevajra Tantra says: "Destruction and pouring are called empowerment." Thirdly, the order of empowerment of each tantra. In the Wisdom Thigle, it says: "The water empowerment and the crown are most famous in the action tantra." And so on. In particular, according to the doctrine of Anuttarayoga, in the later part of the Guhyagarbha Tantra, it says: "The teacher's secret wisdom, and the fourth empowerment immediately following it, empower in four ways, making those with the potential ripe. In order to purify the defilements of conceptualization, there are four empowerments." Thus, the subtle innate Vajra body, etc., which are the basis of purification, the coarse manifestations of the aggregates, elements, and sense bases to be purified, the vase empowerment and its retinue, which are the means of purification, and the manifestation of the compassionate nature of all Buddhas, which are the results of purification, are represented by the four abodes. By way of example, the reason why all the countless names are included in the meaning by dividing the four empowerments separately can be explained in detail. Fourthly, the recitation and the earth ritual, the preliminaries and the introduction and maturation of disciples, each of the four realizations, if the four branches are missing, the ritual is incomplete and cannot mature. Such is the meaning of what was said. First, the recitation is also the same. In the Compendium, it says: "The commitment to recitation is combined, and the near accomplishment arises, the commitment to the meaning of practice, and the great practice, etc., are four." Moreover, its meaning is also stated in the later text: "The first is emptiness, bodhicitta, the second is the collection of seeds, and the third is"
