名称的第三个部分“心”,从梵语Satta(梵文天城体:सत्त्व,梵文罗马拟音:sattva,汉语字面意思:有情)的语音引申而来。

Because of abandoning attachment, it is the indivisible Vajra. Thus, this non-dual wisdom is established as Vajra through five reasons. The third part of the name, "Mind," is derived from the sound of Satta (Sanskrit: सत्त्व, sattva, meaning: sentient being). Maha Sattva (Tibetan: མ་ཧཱ་སྭ་ཏཱ།, Sanskrit: महा सत्त्व, mahā sattva, meaning: great sentient being) is the great mind. Derived from the sound of Vira (Sanskrit: वीर, vīra, meaning: warrior), Maha Vira (Tibetan: མ་ཧཱ་བཱི་ར།, Sanskrit: महा वीर, mahā vīra, meaning: great warrior) is the warrior. For the former, there are four meanings: First, from the perspective of appearance, the mind of viewing is the non-duality of appearance and emptiness. Second, from the perspective of nature, the mind of practice is the naturally luminous nature of mind. Third, from the perspective of essence, the mind of meditation is unwavering by conceptual thoughts. Fourth, from the perspective of result, it becomes a special mind, because it abandons sudden conceptual thoughts and does not fixate, and because it possesses supreme wisdom, it is the great mind, not falling into the extremes of permanence and annihilation. The fourth part of the name, "Warrior," is that the four activities of pacifying, increasing, subjugating, and wrathful destroy the four maras, so it is the warrior. That is, in order, pacifying the afflictions into the five wisdoms pacifies the Mara of Afflictions. The five aggregates are purified into the nature of the five Buddha families, and the qualities increase, increasing the Mara of Aggregates. Taking the meaning of non-duality as empowerment destroys the Mara of the Sons of Gods. Manifestly practicing the meaning of non-arising destroys the Mara of Death. Such a glorious Vajrasattva, whose nature is the indivisibility of truth, is the most excellent of all the main deities of the mandalas of the lower tantras of the mundane and supramundane, abiding in the nature of the union of the seven limbs. Therefore, there are extensive explanations about the god of gods and the god of gods, which can be understood from the "Nomenclature of the Lama." Also, the deity is the object to be prostrated to. Who prostrates? It is the author of the treatise, the teacher Buddha Guhya. How to prostrate? There are three ways: the prostration of excellent conduct, the prostration of skillful means of practice, and the prostration of indivisible union. Here, it is the indivisible prostration. Even though the object of prostration and the prostrator's mind become one, it is only in form that it is called the prostration of seeing the view, because it establishes its name in the manner of faith or trust in order to see one's own face. The purpose is to generate faith in the teacher and the treatise, to complete the accumulation of merit, and for ultimate accomplishment. Second, by promising to vow not to abandon the vow, there are two aspects to beginning to compose the treatise: old age...

The vow initiated through the gateway of convenience is reasonable, and the vow to explain in a concise manner is genuine. The first is divided into two: how the secret mantra flourished in the human realm, and how the fruit was attained through the practice of gathering. The first is also divided into two: the time when the Lord of Secrets spoke to the five lineage families, and the time when King Dza (ཛ) was granted the secret mantra. The first is: Twenty-eight years after our teacher Shakyamuni Buddha passed into nirvana, the five virtuous lineage families, through their own clairvoyance arising from proper contemplation within their hearts, knew. In the land of Lanka (Laṅkā), near the land of Zahor in eastern India, the place where the Blessed One had previously spoken the Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra at the request of the ten-necked son of King Sound of Lanka, invited by Great Wisdom. That land was previously occupied by rakshasas, later destroyed by King Rāmaṇa, and once occupied by Captain Siṃhabhadra, hence it was also known as the island of Siṃhala. Among them, they gathered on the summit of the relic mountain with three powers—the Himalayas—where there is sky-iron, and uttered twenty-three cries of anguish. The teacher, the Lord of the Six Lineages, Samantabhadra himself, personally knew this and manifested as the embodiment of Vajrapani, the master who holds the secret of the three vows. In an instant, he arrived at that place with his miraculous feet. The god Known Protector of Dharma, Infinite Wisdom; the Naga King Black Neck, Ocean of Wisdom; the Yaksha Star Arrow Face, Wisdom Dispelling Faith; the Rakshasa Lord of Lanka, Wisdom with Skillful Means; the human bhikshu Licchavi Immaculate Fame, Wisdom Utterly Peaceful—these beings with the capacity and fortune to hear the secret mantra gathered in the assembly. The teacher Shakya Powerful One, beginning with the king who pours forth the essence of sutras and instructions, said: From here, I will disappear, and after one hundred and twelve years, in the place known as the three realms of the gods, the essence of the teachings will appear. In the southeastern direction of Jambudvipa, a king named Dza (ཛ) will appear through the power of Vajrapani. Thus, at the time when the true fruit of the prophecy ripened manifestly, the teachings previously spoken in Akanishta and other realms were repeated once more. They were all rakshasa wisdom.
