If one constantly meditates, the Lord of Death will not see you. Because one is liberated from mere conceptualization, death will also not be seen. Moreover, many other demons and samsara will not be seen either. This conceptualization called death does not exist in all things, but it is through the transformation of individual beings that conceptualization is destroyed. All the suffering of conceptualization is called the demon of conceptualization. Therefore, destroy conceptualization and make it a state of non-conceptualization. Thus it is said. 14. All of this is determined through meditation, showing the special qualities of reverence and so on. Whatever one is accustomed to, that will become clear, the same as the wisdom of desire and sorrow. 16. The scriptures that teach how to determine illness are easy to find, but its combination and oral instructions are difficult to find. If you meet a master who knows the combination, from the world, the combination, that is, the oral instructions, is not difficult to find. 17. For various combinations, teaching in a way that shows the characteristics of a small vessel, shows that one who is skilled and has faith, is excellent in patience and diligence, is diligent in practice and has wisdom, is a vessel for deceiving death. 18. If a master possesses oral instructions and a disciple possesses the vessel, if the two meet, they will surely be able to deceive death. Showing that death can be deceived by the example of food, such as slow, ripe, and drinking. The fire of transformation will burn, and the fire will burn very strongly, capable of completely digesting food. When completely digested, the body will grow, and when it grows, strength will increase. From strength, life will increase, and when life increases, one will live long. Everything will be manifested, what doubt is there about this? Similarly, through oral instructions, living to kalpas and so on, there is no doubt either. Showing that death can be deceived by the example of a lamp, through the exhaustion of butter and essence, etc. Lamps and so on face danger, and again from oil and essence, etc., they can exist until the kalpa. Similarly, this body, also faces death because of aging, etc., if one finds the oral instructions of accomplishment, why can't it exist until the end of the kalpa? Showing that death can be deceived by the example of a dilapidated house, for example, an old house, can last a long time by repairing it. Similarly,

Even my body, can it not be maintained by treatment? There is no difficulty in effort. Therefore, do not abandon the effort to treat. An example of success through effort is that if water drips constantly, even a gentle stream of water will eventually pierce through a stone slab. Rubbing wood will produce fire, and digging the earth will bring forth water. If a person makes an effort, there is nothing that cannot be accomplished. Through effort, everything started quickly will bear fruit. 19 Like this, effort will surely deceive death, but here the fault of not practicing is shown: These people who deceive death, even knowing many methods, if they do not practice, they will be in bed, stained with feces, and die. Those who are skilled in practice and knowledgeable in scriptures, because of the fault of not practicing, can only show their teeth and die. Even knowing the scriptures of yoga and various methods of practice, but saying, 'I will do it today or tomorrow,' those who think like this will eventually die. This thing to do, do it tomorrow, and then there are other things to do, not understanding the impermanent nature of life, vainly seeking reliance. A person is like entering the mouth of the Lord of Death, like a boat entering the mouth of a crocodile, falling into the whirlpool of worldly water before the task is completed. 21 In summary, connecting what has been said with remembrance, exhorting effort: Like this, the methods of deceiving death have been explained. This is obtained from the treatises written by self-enlightened Buddhas, other heretical gods, and sages. Diligently practice from meditation, and from the fear of merciless death, strive to seek a method of liberation. Because here, what is pleasing, there is nothing more important than life. 21 Explaining that this treatise on what should be strived for is not self-created, but from which tantras it is collected: Vajra Dakini Four Seats Tantra, and Buddha Ushnisha Tantra, etc. Also, the Later Time Garland Tantra, the Fifty Time Tantra, Nagarjuna's Fifty Elixirs of Life, etc. Furthermore, through diligently studying treatises on medicine and combinations, out of compassion for beings, this method of deceiving the Lord of Death is explained. 22 Concluding with dedication: Just as the autumn moon rises in a completely clear sky, thoughts and actions are pure, and the object of merit is so great that even the sky cannot contain it.
