Regarding the view instructions of Madhyamaka and others, and establishing the wisdom of non-duality of subject and object as the view, among these two methods, the latter is practiced according to the instructions of the guiding texts. It arises from experience, like the appearance of a dream, which disappears naturally without anything remaining as soon as one awakens from sleep. All appearances arise as illusory and unreal, like a mirage, thereby ascertaining that they are the magical displays of one's own mind, which is the view of the Cittamatra school. Likewise, the consciousness of the experiencer realizes that the three states of arising, abiding, and ceasing are empty, which is the view of the Madhyamaka school. Moreover, through the blessings of the guru, experiencing the inexpressible nature, is the uncommon view of Secret Mantra. When practicing these lineages through meditation, the first example given is the story of the wheel-turner and the archer. These two left their homes, wives, and children in the country to compete in arts. A quantity of one hundred and fifteen arrows was set as the limit. The wheel-turner carefully prepared and spun, shooting one hundred and four arrows, but none hit the target. At that point, the archer put down his bow and went inside. He told his wife the story, and she said she had a plan. The next day, when he continued shooting, his wife came out dressed in strange attire, distracting the wheel-turner, and the archer seized the opportunity to shoot the wheel-turner in the heart. The wheel-turner said, "I was not killed by the arrow, but by the loss of mindfulness and awareness. Always guard mindfulness and awareness." Then he died. Just like this example, because of the loss of mindfulness, all dharmas will go to ruin, so one must gather mindfulness completely and meditate. The middle example is the elephant, which is a sentient being with intelligence. When it goes from a good place to a bad place, if there is even a slight mishap, it is struck with iron hooks and other tools to bring it back on track. When it is going well, it is further restrained to prevent it from going astray. The last example is the ship, if sailing from the ocean for a day or two, if pigeons and other things are not well prepared, they will return. After that, even without preparation, those weak birds, because their wing strength is exhausted, will circle from all directions and land on the ship. Similarly, if there is neither distraction nor non-distraction, and one becomes absorbed in the nature of reality, then conceptual thoughts will naturally be self-liberated. Therefore, one should carefully examine these examples and meanings and put them into practice. Auspicious! This is a very concise summary of the questions and answers on the ground, path, and fruition. Yes, Rinpoche, from a long time ago, the ground, path, and fruition

Although bestowing upon me the precious crown of your question is an exceedingly great fortune, I am, alas, extremely unskilled and unlearned. I cannot even grasp the directly expressed meaning of the question itself, like placing grass before a yak, let alone provide an answer. However, I cannot bear to disregard the instructions of a noble being, so I will audaciously, without hesitation, offer a few thoughts like scattering seeds. Generally speaking, if derived from the Sanskrit word "Sthana," then "gzhi (基, base)" has meanings such as foundation, basis, and place. Therefore, it is recognized as something that transforms into the basis of the path and fruit. Here, it refers to the continuous, unconditioned wisdom (ཡེ་ཤེས, Jñana) of coemergent union (ཟུང་འཇུག, Yuganaddha). As for the path (ལམ, Mārga), if derived from the Sanskrit word "Māna," it has the meaning of seeking. Because one seeks the fruit, it is called the path. And for the three fruits that are the goals, there will be three paths that correspond to them. Here, for the moment, aiming at the fruit of the Great Perfection (རྫོགས་བྱང་ཆེན་པོ, Mahāsandhi), it is considered to be distinguished by vast and profound skillful means and wisdom. As for the fruit (འབྲས, Phala), if derived from the Sanskrit word "Phala," it has the meaning of completion, signifying the complete fulfillment of the activities of the path. Here, it refers to the state of complete abandonment, realization, and enlightened activity. Thus, having established the general meaning, let us now turn to the specific details. Regarding the chapter on the "gzhi (基, base)," the Tathāgatagarbha (གཤེགས་སྙིང, Tathāgatagarbha) being described with the term Ālaya-vijñāna (ཀུན་གཞི, Ālaya-vijñāna) is, for the moment, a provisional measure. The Tathāgatagarbha is established from the perspective of the seed. Dharmadhātu-jñāna (ཆོས་དབྱིངས་ཡེ་ཤེས, Dharmadhātu-jñāna) is distinguished from the opposite aspect of emptiness and the opposite aspect of self-luminous clarity. Satya-siddhi (བདེན་གྲུབ, Satya-siddhi) is named from the aspect of immutability. Unconquerable ignorance (མ་རིག་པ, Avidyā) is also spoken of because it does not mix with defilements. Coemergent union's unconditionedness (ཟུང་འཇུག་འདུས་མ་བྱས, Yuganaddha-asamskrta) is established at the ultimate place of the acknowledged reality. Indeterminate (ལུང་མ་བསྟན, Avyākrta) is not karma because its nature is unconditioned. Because it is not karma, it is called not belonging to either good or evil. The unconditioned nature of the lineage (རང་བཞིན་གནས་རིགས, Prakrti-stha-gotra) is real, and the conditioned is growth, and it is established there. Thus, please excuse what I have said regarding whether it is reasonable, and how provisional and ultimate transform. In general, although the views of Sutra and Tantra are the same, the methods of explanation are slightly different. Regarding the coemergent union of the lineage, whether it is conditioned or unconditioned is uncertain, and this is understood as the great wisdom of the wise. As it is said: Conditioned phenomena are utterly unestablished, un
