The sutras that mainly explain emptiness and the three characteristics are the first of the first turning of the wheel of Dharma, the middle of the first turning, and the last of the first turning. Regarding the Prajnaparamita Sutra, the sutras concerning the "Four Noble Truths" are the first of the intermediate turning, the sutras concerning "form and so on being without inherent existence" are the second of the intermediate turning, and the sutras concerning "not complete and completely complete" and so on are the last of the intermediate turning. Similarly, for the last turning of the wheel of Dharma, the four truths and so on are the first of the last turning, the middle of the last turning, and the last of the last turning, thus establishing the terminology. So, is such a wheel of Dharma turned in stages for each individual disciple, or is it turned all at once? Most scholars say that it is turned in stages. However, here, the wise Sonam Tsemo says in "Prophecy of Intentions": "Without conception and without confusion, the pleasing vajra word is unique, but depending on the thoughts of the disciples, it transforms into many distinctions." And the Sutra Ornament says: "Previously unpredicted, they arose simultaneously." Thus, the Blessed One, with a single word, at the same time, in accordance with the thoughts of each individual disciple, turned many different wheels of Dharma. Even if it is turned in stages, we ordinary beings cannot guess whether at the beginning the provisional meaning was spoken and the definitive meaning was not spoken, or whether at the second and third times one of them was spoken and the other was not spoken. Furthermore, the "Entrance to the Wise" says: "Whoever knows the six limits is very skilled in explaining the scriptures." Thus, from the perspective of the disciples, there are two: provisional meaning and definitive meaning; from the perspective of the speaker, there are two: literal and non-literal; plus the explanation of the hidden meaning, there are six in total. The Dharma wheels of scripture that have become treatises are: the five treatises of Maitreya composed by the protector Maitreya, who can freely interpret the hidden meaning of the Buddha's words, and the six collections of reasoning of Madhyamaka composed by the noble Nagarjuna, and so on, which are known as the two founders of the chariot tradition. In addition, in the sacred land of India, there are treatises that can explain the hidden meaning of the Buddha's words with the power of valid cognition, and in the snowy land of Tibet, there are also the Nyingma school and...

Regarding the instructions, although there are slight differences among the Kagyu Dharma Lords, Ganden Mountain, and Sakya schools, the authentic teachings established by scriptural evidence and pure reasoning, like a river whose source reaches the snow mountain, are this precious teaching of the great Sakya school, which is universally known. They also strive to follow other schools, such as crafts and medicine; refute erroneous views, such as grammar and logic; and understand all inner knowledge, including the three baskets and four tantras. In particular, inner knowledge encompasses the vast practices, profound views, and meditative practices, all of which are properly determined and explained through the six vast intentions and four methods, thus it is far superior to other schools. Now, the Dharma wheel that is turning at this time is such that, through explanation, the light of the sun of eloquent speech illuminates, making even the most subtle and profound areas of knowledge as clear as a myrobalan fruit in the palm of one's hand; through debate, the vajra of reasoning, like a thunderbolt, grinds the mountains of wrong views into powder; and through writing, the garland of beautiful lotus verses delights the ears of scholars with vast wisdom. In this way, may the lotus feet remain firm for hundreds of kalpas, abiding long, as the path that leads fortunate beings, like an ocean, to the state of perfect omniscience, this is the perfection of the Dharma. Fifth, the perfection of the retinue that appeared at the same time is: Among the three wonders of this Saha world, the emergence of the noble Sangha, relying on the power of the Teacher of Teachers turning the wheel of Dharma, is the third auspicious and wonderful thing. As it is said: The holy Sangha is endowed with Dharma, rich in the wealth of learning and contemplation, is the object of offerings for humans, gods, and asuras, is the supreme assembly, is the basis of shame and glory, this is the third auspicious goodness in the world. As mentioned above, in general, the Dharmakaya and Svabhavikakaya are beyond the characteristics of elaboration, like the sky, abiding in the great wisdom that is free from change, partiality.
