Do you not see even a little of these signs of degeneration? 26 Like this, while freely engaging in the four root downfalls, they pride themselves on guarding the minor precepts. They covet others' wealth and fame, and cultivate bodhicitta with a distracted mind. They explain profound meanings without the means to ripen, and abandon their vows for the sake of wealth. They transcend the object to be purified, the means of purification, and the result, generating conceptual constructs of attachment to the generation stage. 27 Bound by characteristics, they indulge in a little of the coarse qualities, the path of the perfection stage. Having long abandoned the opportunity to see the wisdom of empowerment, they act as if they have never relinquished their attachment to experience. Starting from recognizing arising feelings and states, they focus on the mundane meditation of daily life. They cling to the wisdom free from defilements, hoping for the ultimate clarity of ignorance. 28 Some possess spontaneously manifest wisdom and qualities, like a lotus-born moon. Yet they pursue the fame fabricated by fools, cutting off the fruits of benefit and happiness for themselves and others. Most indulge in positions made up of strings of false lies. Their behavior of turning others' minds like an umbrella is darker than eye medicine. 29 Veiled by the touch of false glory and deception. Yet the world considers them great, and the fruits of desire are endless. In the name of prolonging life, protection, and propagation, their behavior is busier than ordinary suffering. They regard the qualities of practice as enemies, yet praise them as the glory of guides. 30 Especially, regarding the key points of the two truths, that is, interdependence, establishment, and non-contradiction. Those with dull minds are far from understanding its law of dependent origination. They spread slander and confusion, insist on their own views, and consider others ignorant. Some, because they treat listening and thinking as enemies, turn away from the path of meditation. 31 These beings are more ignorant than ignorance itself, causing great sorrow. Alas, who can subdue you now other than through magic? Because of this, my heart is very sad, and my hair stands on end with grief again and again. They are like putting their feet into the lower realms, yet unknowingly utter lamentations. 32 These words, compared to the way of pleading with you, what could be better? With great compassion, please be tolerant, and quickly with wisdom and loving eyes, look upon all, enter into the very truth of the right path, enter the right path, and be full of faith in all participants, free from
