To the glorious Lama of direct and lineage transmission, To the peaceful and wrathful Yidam deities, Buddhas and their sons, To the hosts of Dakinis, Dharma Protectors, and wealth deities, I prostrate with great reverence through the three doors. I offer a vast ocean of Samantabhadra's offering clouds, Of body, possessions, actual wealth, and mind-emanations. I confess all the sins and downfalls accumulated since beginningless time, Through the door of the complete four powers. I rejoice in all the collections of merit accumulated by samsara and nirvana, With supreme joy, I rejoice. I pray that the Lamas, Buddhas, and their sons of the ten directions, Do not pass into sorrow, but remain forever. To beings oppressed by the suffering of ignorance, I urge you to send down a great rain of profound and vast Dharma. I dedicate all the virtues accumulated in the three times, To the essence of enlightenment. By this merit, may all sentient beings, self and others, Complete the two accumulations and purify the two obscurations. Relying on the staircase of the five paths and ten grounds, May I quickly attain the state of omniscience. In all lifetimes before attaining that state, Having obtained the leisure and endowment, may I remember the uncertainty of death. May I be cared for by the supreme vehicle's virtuous friend, And may I rely on him properly with thought and action. Wherever I am born in the three realms and six classes, high or low, Seeing the nature of the three sufferings, May I generate a strong renunciation from the depths of my heart, And may I strive to adopt and abandon karma and its results as they are. Since all sentient beings are kind mothers, May I give my own happiness and virtue to others, And may I be able to willingly take upon myself The suffering of all beings pervading the sky, along with its causes. Drawn by the force of love and compassion, May I take good hold of the two Bodhicitta, aspiration and action, And may I enter the ocean of the deeds of the Bodhisattvas, Such as the six perfections and the four ways of gathering disciples. In particular, with single-pointed Shamatha-Vipassana concentration, May physical and mental pliancy Be achieved, and happiness, With the wisdom of Vipassana that discriminates individually, May the supreme heart of ultimate Bodhicitta be realized. Having thus trained the mind with the common vehicle, May I quickly attain Buddhahood for the sake of others.
