It also makes it spontaneously accomplished, such as temporarily placing in high status, ultimately placing in definite goodness, etc., and for whatever activities are to be tamed, it also makes them spontaneously accomplished, and when and where is the time, that is, for those who go to the place where the beings to be tamed are, and when the time for taming has come, there is no effort of discrimination, and it is spontaneously accomplished. So it is said. There are five meanings of continuous: showing the difference of names, explaining the nature of the meaning, representing them with examples, explaining the meaning of the examples in detail, and summarizing the way of continuousness. Among them, the difference of names is: the Buddhas' actions of benefiting sentient beings are continuous, because it is the cause of the arising of activities, the condition of showing it, the way of accomplishing the result for those causes and conditions, the field of entering the activities of the result, completely holding, and the obstacles of those fields should be removed, and the conditions for cutting off those obstacles, because there is no discrimination, it enters by its own nature. So it is said. The nature of the meaning is: what are those six causes and conditions? The cause of definitely arising in the ultimate state is that the Bodhisattva's ten grounds are practiced in order, and the two accumulations of merit and wisdom are the special qualities of those ten grounds, which increase and show from above, and because of the completeness of the cause, the Buddha's activities are also continuous, and the ultimate result of them is the supreme perfect enlightenment, and therefore the Buddha's activities are also continuous, and after attaining enlightenment, they also see all sentient beings as having the essence of the Tathagata, and therefore completely hold, and the reason for completely holding is also the essence of those sentient beings, obscuring the endless afflictions and near afflictions together with habits, that is, the sudden defilements are destroyed, etc.

Because of this, and because great compassion always guides as the cause of destroying obstacles, the activity of the Buddha will not be interrupted. Thus it is said. The method of illustrating with examples is: These six aspects that are the reason for the uninterrupted activity of the Tathagata should be understood by combining the examples and meanings in the order in which they appear. That is, the ten bhumis of the Bodhisattva are like the ocean, the two accumulations of merit and wisdom are like the sun, their fruit, the great Bodhi, is like the sky, the realm of sentient beings to be grasped by Bodhi is like a treasure, its impurity, the afflictions, are like clouds, and the great compassion that destroys them is to be understood as like the wind. This is what is said. The combination of example and meaning is: Because they possess the water of immaculate wisdom and are endowed with the jewels of qualities such as clairvoyance, the ten bhumis of the Bodhisattva, which are the cause of definite arising, are like the ocean. Because they benefit and bring happiness to all sentient beings, and are a close refuge and benefit to them, the two accumulations of merit and wisdom, which are the cause of near manifestation, are like the sun. Because they are vast by pervading everything, and profound by being without beginning, end, or middle, their fruit, the great Bodhi, is like the realm of the sky. Because they possess the Dharma nature of the perfectly complete Buddha, and the inexhaustible wealth of qualities, abiding as spontaneously established from the beginning, the realm of sentient beings to be completely grasped, the Tathagatagarbha, which is pure in its own nature, is like a great treasure. Because it can be abandoned, is adventitious, and pervades in its own nature, and because it is not established as true in the ultimate sense, the obscurations of that realm, which is pure in its own nature, the afflictions, are like thick masses of clouds. Afflictions are like clouds,
