This is because it appears in accordance with the beings to be tamed. These are also like various forms of conditioned phenomena existing in the unconditioned realm of space. In the beginning, in the unchanging realm of the Dharma body, ultimately various forms of the Form body appear to exist. This is what it says. As long as they are permanent in meaning, there are two aspects: briefly stating the reason for permanence, and explaining it in detail. The brief statement is: Because there is no attachment to anything, holding the sacred Dharma, etc., and because it is the fruit produced from limitless causes, the Form body's performance of benefiting others is constant and uninterrupted. Similarly, it should be combined like this: Because of the promise to tame all sentient beings, and because the sentient beings to be tamed are inexhaustible; because the motivation for accomplishing the benefit of others, the great compassion for all sentient beings, is constant and uninterrupted; because the means of accomplishing the benefit of others, the attainment of mastery over the miraculous feet, is obtained; because of knowing that the nature of samsara and nirvana are non-dual, therefore there is no birth at any time; because of having the complete bliss of uncontaminated samadhi, therefore there is no harm from suffering; because the lord of all dharmas, even when entering the world, is never tainted by its faults, therefore the Form body's performance of benefiting others is constant and uninterrupted; because the state of immortality has been attained, therefore the army of the Lord of Death has been vanquished; because from the beginning it is unconditioned, therefore there is no nature of conditioned phenomena; because in the ultimate end, it has become the protector and refuge of all worlds, therefore the unchanging Dharma body is permanent. In short, with ten reasons, these three bodies of the Tathagata are indeed permanent. This is what it says. The detailed explanation is divided into three parts: the reason for the permanence of the Form body, the reason for the permanence of the Dharma body, and the summary of the general meaning of these. The reason for the permanence of the Form body is: Previously, in the stage of learning the path, after completely giving away the body, head, etc., as well as the stream of life, and precious enjoyments, etc., without any attachment to anything,

Because the Nirmanakaya and so on are accomplished through limitless causes, these Rupakayas are therefore constant and will never cease. Likewise, in order to accomplish the vast benefit of all sentient beings as they are, one must first liberate all sentient beings from samsara. Thus, one accomplishes the ultimate meaning as one has promised. Moreover, because those to be tamed are inexhaustible, and the fully enlightened Buddha himself is purified of the obscurations of afflictions, the obscurations of knowledge are completely purified, great compassion is pervasive, and he constantly and continuously takes care of all sentient beings. And, because he has mastery over the miraculous powers of transforming one into many, and the samadhi that is the basis for them, he can show the appearance of the Rupakaya in a way that suits their respective capacities. Therefore, that Buddha is able to remain in the world until samsara is empty, and constantly enjoy it. And, because with completely pure wisdom, he is liberated from clinging to both samsara and nirvana from their very nature, and realizes non-duality with non-dual wisdom, he is free from weariness for the sake of others. And, because he constantly possesses inconceivable and infinite perfect bliss of stainless samadhi, he is not harmed by the suffering of asceticism. And, he abides in the world for the benefit of others, and because he enjoys in accordance with their respective capacities, he is not defiled by worldly dharmas, afflictions, karma, and suffering, and so on. Therefore, the activity of benefiting sentient beings by the two Kayas, which are the nature of the Rupakaya, is constant and will never cease. Thus it is said. The reason why the Dharmakaya is constant is that the Dharmakaya of the Tathagatas, which is manifest, does not change from the state of ultimate antidote and is constant. There is no death or change of karma and afflictions, and because one has attained the state of supreme nirvana where all arising and ceasing are pacified, the Lord of Death never exists. Likewise, it is also constant by its very nature, and is not manifested by the aggregation of causes and conditions.
