The benefit of seeing is said to be that it purifies extremely unbearable sins such as the five inexpiable sins and obtains immeasurable merit. As it is said in the Root Tantra of Manjushri: "Whoever commits the five inexpiable sins, etc., extremely unbearable sins, as soon as they see such an image, they will be purified from it." Then, the disciples, many famous lamas, and patrons of the community gathered many funeral offerings such as gold, silver, horses, mules, and fields, and established seasonal and monthly offerings. The benefit of this is, as it is said in the Tantra of Completely Grasping Qualities: "When the lama passes away, if the year, month, day, and number are determined and offerings are made, it will destroy the sins accumulated over hundreds of millions of kalpas and liberate from the extremely unbearable city of Yama." Furthermore, as it is said in the Tantra of Subduing Dakinis: "Serving and honoring as many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River is not as excellent as the merit of anointing one pore of the Vajra Master with sesame oil." From the Five Orders: "Having abandoned all offerings, one should diligently offer to the lama. By pleasing him, one will obtain the supreme wisdom of omniscience." As it is said in the Guhyasamaja Tantra: "Compared to the Buddhas residing in the ten directions, offering to one pore of the lama is superior." As it is said in the Glorious Kalachakra: "Throughout all three times of kalpas, offering to the Three Jewels and saving hundreds of thousands of lives will not attain Buddhahood in this life. If one pleases the lama, who is an ocean of qualities, with a joyful mind, one will obtain supreme and common accomplishments in this very life." From the Essential Practice: "The desired accomplishments are obtained by following the words of the teacher. The all-knowing ones have said this in all Vajrayana." And so on, immeasurable benefits are proclaimed. Then, statues and great Bodhi stupas were built in the assembly hall. The benefit of this is, as it is said in the Sutra of the Assembly of Holding Lotuses: "For the sake of making offerings to the relics of the teacher, piles of various kinds of wood are burned. A stupa made of various kinds of precious materials, a hundred cubits or whatever size, is built. The bones of the teacher are collected and placed in it. Always with incense and flowers

It is said: Offering various things, one will meet immeasurable Buddhas. The Guhyasamaja Tantra says: By offering to all the Buddhas of the three times, if one offers a single hair of the Guru, that merit is particularly excellent. The Vajramala Tantra says: The Vajradhara Guru is the most supreme, one should please him in accordance. By pleasing him, all the Buddhas are pleased. Whether actually residing or having passed away, it is said that there is no difference in obtaining merit from offering even a mustard seed-sized relic. The Lion's Roar Sutra says: Whether the Victor is residing or has completely passed away, there is no difference in this merit. The Lotus Sutra says: Even when the Buddhas have passed away, whoever makes offerings to the relics of the Victors, those will quickly attain enlightenment. And so on, many benefits are mentioned in the Sutras and Tantras. Then, the bearskin offered by the king of Tsami, the silk cushion offered by the king of China, the amulet offered by the king of Bhara, the throne offered by the king of the North, the shoes offered by the king of Shingta, the Dharma robe offered by Khetsun Yonten Gyatso, and the rosary offered by Tsultrim Palwa were all placed in the Great Liberation Place. When consecrating the statue, many similar disciples of Dharma Lord Sa-sangba and others established about a hundred monastic communities for rituals such as Kalachakra, Hevajra, Bhairava, and Chakrasamvara. On the day of the actual consecration, at noon, the signs of wondrous omens were: the vajra ground shook unbearably, various musical sounds echoed in the sky, the cloudless and peaceful sky was blue and clear, everyone saw rainbows and white light intermingling, a rainbow wheel circled above Thongdrol, in some places a sapphire-like light formed, shaking for a long time and then disappearing into the sky, like a string of beryl beads, various circles of light, various bright colors, as if displayed by a wise person, the groups of rainbows spread in the sky every day, sometimes various divine flowers, the size of the palm of a hand, fell like heavy rain, hovering in the sky, circling clockwise and counterclockwise, everyone undeniably saw a half-bodied Rakshasi in the rainbow.
