He took measures to resist border wars by building Sapa Lhakhang, etc., and did many things to benefit sentient beings. He took the terma from Grampa Gyang called "Heart Practice, Very Secret, Supreme." In addition, from the rock gorge in Lhodrak Drubtso Pema Ling, he took the terma called "Pile of Precious Instructions," and from Samye Chimpu, he took about five paper scrolls such as "Longevity Practice, Immortal Glorious Treasure" concerning the Three Roots, and from Mon Paro Taktsang, he took a paper scroll with ten sections that condensed all the profound essentials of sutras and tantras into one, and from Tsari Sang-ngak Phodrang, he took the profound Dharma mind terma cycles, and from Tsari Zilchen Phuk, he took the Great Accomplished One's prophecy, "Lamp Illuminating the Teachings," and the methods for cultivating fields, etc., from the terma (Upper Volume, p. 818), and invited many termas. In particular, he possessed limitless and inconceivable wondrous deeds such as miracles, signs of accomplishment, and clairvoyance. He repelled the Mongol army with various miracles, built many iron chain bridges and boat bridges, simultaneously displayed many emanations, and in Mon, he rescued all beings who were trapped under a collapsing mountain, saving them from danger in an instant. In Kamata, India, he subdued the evil heretical king with miracles and converted him to Dharma. He went to the Glong region and subdued the evil, barbaric, foolish beings who were like animals with miracles and converted them to Dharma, just like Srongtsen Gampo in the snowy land, and like "Thangtong Gyalpo is famous in the barbaric land." To protect Tibet from the harm of barbarians, he opened the sacred site of Tsakang and built temples and monasteries. Even now, one can still see the footprints of the great accomplished one who traveled around Jambudvipa three times, his worn-out leather shoes, his sandalwood snake-heart staff, and his robe, etc. In addition, there are fifty-eight iron chain bridges, one hundred and eighteen boat bridges, sixty wooden bridges, thirty-seven statues ranging from one finger-span to one cubit in height, and hundreds of statues made of gold, silver, turquoise, coral, pearl, agate, incense, crystal, etc. There are five thousand molds of various sizes, ranging from fifty-five hand-spans high to one cubit long.

From the earth, countless images were molded, and eighteen sets of the Kangyur, led by one gold-written Kangyur (upper volume, page 819), fifteen sets of the Tengyur, and one hundred and eleven large and small stupas, led by a stupa on Mount Riwoché (རི་བོ་ཆེ།) with each side measuring forty cubits, were erected, along with opening the gates to practice sites and many hidden lands. As instructed by Orgyen (ཨོ་རྒྱན་) Guru Padmasambhava, moxibustion was widely performed throughout Tibet, bringing happiness and well-being like the sun emerging from the clouds. He said that this was all thanks to me, Thangtong Gyalpo He personally traveled on foot to Lo (ལྷོ་), Kong (ཀོང་), Ngari (མངའ་རིས་), Mo (མོད་), Kham (ཁམས་), and even as far as Trashi Trigo (བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཁྲི་སྒོ།) in China. In particular, when the King of Derge (སྡེ་དགེ་) first established the system of hereditary succession, he formed a relationship of patronage and support with him, and initially laid the foundation for the establishment of a monastery on Lhundrup Teng (ལྷུན་གྲུབ་སྟེང་) in Lungda (ཀླུང་མདའ་). The temple built on the drained lake is still known as Thangtong Lhakhang Furthermore, it is said that in this region, a great accomplished one, known as the 'wandering yogi of Tsang,' who traveled without a fixed abode, appeared. My master, Dzogchen (རྫོགས་ཆེན་) Dapon Rinpoche (དབོན་རིན་པོ་ཆེ།), believes that this great accomplished one was none other than him. Thus, he extensively accomplished the teachings of the four activities and the benefit of sentient beings, and it is believed that he later went to the realm of the Dakinis without abandoning his physical body. On the fourth day of the Great Miracle Month (ཆོ་འཕྲུལ་ཆེན་པོ།) in the Wood Snake year, at the age of one hundred and twenty-eight, he perfected the inexhaustible power from the unborn state, and said: 'The inexpressible mind is the awareness of ignorance, All elaborations dissolve into the state of non-elaboration. If one transcends conceptual thought, both samsara and nirvana are laughable.' Having said this, he thought he was going to the realm of the Dakinis, and as he ascended higher and higher (upper volume, page 820) into the sky, his heart-son Nyima Sangpo (ནི་མ་བཟང་པོ།) sang a lament: 'Oh, you who are calling out so loudly, The yogi is going to the realm of Dharma, What is called death is just a cause of sorrow for children.' After saying these songs, he returned and gave detailed instructions and testaments, and then demonstrated passing away at Riwoché (རི་བོ་ཆེ།). However, he always blessed those with karma with his wisdom body, and later personally appeared to the omniscient Jigme Lingpa (འཇིགས་མེད་གླིང་པ་), giving him the instruction that ships would not sink in the water.
