By pressing with the fingers, the pulses and warmth increase. Support the throat with the palms. Pressing the fingers to the cheeks stops the coarse winds. Extending the toes outward and contracting them, keeping the spine straight, and tilting the head slightly balances dullness and agitation. Gazing askance at the sky directly in front gains the lotus eyes. This seizes the winds that move at will, and spontaneously accomplishes the manifestation of the five lights, thereby utilizing the meaning of suchness, and ultimately liberating into the Sambhogakaya. The posture of the Nirmanakaya is: sitting upright with the body straight balances the channels and winds. Aligning the two knees and placing the soles of the feet on the ground suppresses the power of water. Contracting the anus for a moment and pressing against the spine cuts off the stream of thoughts. Pressing the knees to the chest manifests mirror-like wisdom. Placing the elbows of both hands on the knees and lifting the collarbone with the vajra fists crossed at the wrists balances heat and cold. Alternatively, embracing the kidneys with the elbows and touching them cures cold diseases. Alternatively, encircling and covering the knees cures hot diseases. Straightening the spine allows the wind-mind to flow in suchness. Looking slightly down and drowsily at the space gains the Dharma eye. At this time, warmth arises in the body, the elements are balanced, and one gains mastery over the meaning of suchness. Ultimately, it leads to liberation into the Nirmanakaya. Thus, whatever posture is adopted, it should not be too constricted or closed, but each part should be relaxed, with the essential point of not obstructing. Furthermore, there are many postures of the limbs, represented by Manifest Enlightenment and Immutable Vajra, but here it is said that this much is sufficient, so I will not elaborate further. Thus, the fault of not mastering the key points of body and speech is that the wisdom of awareness, the complete union of the three kayas, the spontaneously accomplished great bliss, is inherently present within oneself, but if the key points are not mastered, it will not manifest, and the aforementioned qualities will not arise. As it says in "Klong gsal": If the key points of the body are not mastered, the winds of arising and ceasing cannot be controlled, likewise, warmth will not arise in the body, and awareness cannot manifest. The benefits of mastering the key points are that the qualities of the path appearance of clear light suchness manifest, and one directly sees them, and ultimately one is liberated into the expanse of the intention of the three kayas of the Buddha, thereby transcending suffering, as it is said in "Thal 'gyur": Ch.

The sitting posture of the Dharmakaya is like a lion, freeing oneself from all fears of delusion, and one will be able to see with the Vajra eye. The sitting posture of the Sambhogakaya is, relying on the reclining posture of an elephant, enjoying the meaning of Dharmata, and one will be able to see with the lotus eye. The sitting posture of the Nirmanakaya is, relying on the squatting posture of a sage, the manifestation of Dharmata naturally emanates, and one will be able to see with the Dharma eye. Thus it is said.
