Meditating by resting in the clear light from oneself is one method. Then, in a state between sleeping and not sleeping, the clear light naturally arises. Thus, one attains Buddhahood through sleep without relying on anything else. This is the secret instruction for transforming sleep into clear light. Regarding the formation of sentient beings in the womb: According to the Abhidharma, when both parents have accumulated the karma to be reborn, and the time is right, the mother is menstruating, the parents unite with desire, and the Gandharva (Tibetan: དྲི་ཟ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गन्धर्व, Sanskrit Romanization: Gandharva, Literal meaning: scent-eater) is present, the fetus is formed. Regarding the appearance of the future body: All thoughts are fully present, and it does not arise anywhere other than in the womb and the Vajra Seat. It is said that in the Bardo state, they can see each other and with divine eyes. The one that does not regress is the Gandharva (Tibetan: དྲི་ཟ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गन्धर्व, Sanskrit Romanization: Gandharva, Literal meaning: scent-eater). Due to past habits of acting perversely, when taking rebirth, like a swan frolicking in a lotus pond, possessing a previously existing fleshy body. All senses are fully present, with a beginningless origin. Those with similar divine eyes can see. Food is the Gandharva (Tibetan: དྲི་ཟ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गन्धर्व, Sanskrit Romanization: Gandharva, Literal meaning: scent-eater). Because the mind is perverted, one goes to places of joy and pleasure. One goes to other places.’ This was said by Master Vasubandhu. Practicing the Illusory Body: Homage to the Guru (Sanskrit: गुरु, Sanskrit Romanization: Guru, Literal meaning: Teacher)! The practice of the illusory body should be done as follows: Upon awakening, in the post-meditation state, bless oneself, and like the appearances in a dream, visualize oneself and all appearances as illusions or like reflections in water, and meditate on this. By meditating in this way, wisdom will arise. Again, after waking up, meditate in the post-meditation state as follows: Look at your ordinary body as if it were reflected in a mirror, and facing the mirror, clearly visualize it in your mind. After clearly visualizing it, praise it and speak of its many qualities, but do not generate a feeling of joy, because it is an illusory body. Similarly, sometimes speak of its many bad qualities and denigrate it, but do not generate a feeling of displeasure. Meditate in this way many times and clearly visualize it, then merge it back into your own body. Meditate on yourself as an illusory body, without joy when praised and without displeasure when denigrated. If you do not want it to appear clearly, visualize it again in front of you, then merge it into your body and meditate. Visualize yourself as a deity and offer many praises. If joy does not arise, merge it into your own body. In this way, you will definitely see a body like an illusion or a reflection in water, and you will eliminate your attachment to yourself. The attachment to all appearances will also be effortlessly eliminated, and all appearances will become empty and illusory. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All appearances of dullness will not arise. At that time, oneself and all appearances are established as illusory, and one can transform them as one wishes. During sleep, remaining distinctly inseparable from the waking state is called 'inseparable from being asleep and not asleep'. The instructions on the illusory body. Auspicious! The instructions on transference of consciousness into a corpse. Homage to the Guru! The instructions on transference of consciousness into a corpse: In a secluded place, prepare a mandala, etc. On a skull, apply a black paint made of black pigment, etc., and then draw a white Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), cover it with cotton, and place it on the mandala. Then, visualize a Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) in your heart, and as it appears, transfer the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) to the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) on the skull, and entrust your consciousness to it and meditate. By meditating in this way, the sign that the consciousness has taken hold of the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) on the skull is that the skull moves, shakes, trembles, or the cotton moves, etc. If these signs appear, then take the corpse of a small animal, such as a lamb or a bird, without wounds and not rotten, and visualize a Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) in its heart, and entrust your consciousness to it and meditate. By meditating in this way, if the corpse moves or is able to stand, then you have the ability to transfer consciousness into a corpse. Then, go to another place and take the corpse of a king's son or a young woman, without decay, without wounds, not dead from fighting, not dead from vomiting, not dead from epidemics, etc., wash it well, anoint it with good fragrances such as sandalwood, dress it in good clothes such as silk, adorn it with good jewels such as gold and turquoise, make it pleasing, and place it in the center of the mandala, facing yourself. Place the right nostril of the corpse and your left nostril together, visualize a Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) in the heart of the corpse, and entrust your consciousness to it and meditate. Do not think about your aging body, and repeatedly entrust your consciousness to the corpse without distraction. By doing this for a long time, the consciousness will attach to the corpse, and then it will stand up, gather up the previous aging body, etc., and then you can do things for the benefit of sentient beings. In general, generating the samādhi that is like an illusion. Homage to the Guru! In general, to generate the samādhi that is like an illusion: First, completely grasp dreams; second, expand dreams; third, meditate on the suchness of dreams. Abandon all clinging and fully develop realization. There are four faults that arise: the extent of distraction, the taste of arising afflictions, the extent of reaching wisdom, and the reversal of saṃsāra. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
