It is not. The reality of things, the stages of the path, and the stages of the arising of the fruit. First, the reality of things has two aspects: the reality of the physical body, and the reality of the mind. If one does not understand the reality of the physical body, one will not understand the key points of the channels, winds, and bodhicitta, nor will one recognize the clear light, nor will one receive the instructions on transference of consciousness. The key points of the body should be understood in relation to each specific instruction. If one does not understand the reality of the mind, meditation will go astray. Therefore, it is necessary to know: clarity, bliss, and emptiness. Awareness is clear light, clear light that arises without depending on others. Awareness as clear light is not like the Mind-Only school's consciousness, which considers self-awareness and self-illumination to be ultimate truth, but rather like a lamp inside a vase, naturally clear, and clear without depending on others. That which is naturally clear is also bliss, but it is not like the bliss of ordinary beings with outflows, but rather great bliss. It is not like the peace of the Hearers, but rather the great bliss of non-dual wisdom. That itself is emptiness, but it is not an emptiness that was previously non-existent, or an emptiness of cessation, or an emptiness of utter non-existence, but rather emptiness of self-nature or own being. Therefore, clarity, bliss, and emptiness are inseparable like the touch of fire and heat, and the four kayas are spontaneously accomplished by their own nature. In the stages of the path, it appears to oneself in this way, but at the time of the fruit, all conceptual elaborations or extremes of expression are abandoned, and for the benefit of sentient beings, the two kayas arise spontaneously. The stages of the path are two: the path of maturation and the path of liberation. The path of maturation has two aspects: empowerment and vows. Empowerment has four aspects: the vase empowerment, the place of the six empowerments is the body. The impurity to be purified is the impurity of the body. The experience is the arising of the realization that all phenomena are mind. The instruction is to show the instruction of the generation stage as illusion. The necessity is to reverse the clinging of ordinary beings. The fruit is the attainment of the two form kayas. The place of the secret empowerment is speech. The impurity to be purified is the impurity of speech. The experience is the arising of the realization that the mind is self-aware and self-illuminating. The instruction is to show the instruction of the channels and winds. The necessity is to realize the inseparability of bliss and emptiness. The fruit is the attainment of the enjoyment kaya. The empowerment of wisdom and knowledge. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The place of reliance is the mind. The defilements are: the three defilements of the mind. The experience is: the arising of a realization of bliss and emptiness without conceptualization. The instruction is: the instruction of Mahamudra (phyag rgya chen po, 大手印) is taught. The need is: there is a need to obtain the accomplishment of Mahamudra. The result is: the attainment of Dharmakaya (chos kyi sku, 法身). Explaining the above meaning with words is the word empowerment. Meaning is considered as wisdom and metaphor. The metaphor of meaning is: like taking a handful of water from the ocean, or like the sun in the clouds. It is said that the secret stone of wisdom should be kept hidden. There are two types of vows: vows to protect and vows to consume. The vows to protect are: the fourteen root downfalls and their branches. The vows to consume are: the five meats and the five amritas. There are two paths to liberation: the path of adornment and the path of the innate. There are two aspects to the innate: the generation stage and the completion stage. There are two aspects to the generation stage: many and few. There are two aspects to many: gradual and simultaneous. There are two aspects to gradual: Learning the form and learning the illusory generation stage. First, learning the form is: first, offering to the Lama (bla ma, 上师) and the Three Jewels, accumulating merit for three days. Then, placing a painted image and a window, etc., first look, then meditate. If it is not clear, repeat the practice for half a month. Then it is blurry, then it is partial, then it is fragmented. Then it is learning the illusory. There are two aspects to the completion stage: the main practice of equipoise and the subsequent attainment combined with conduct. There are two paths of adornment: Bardo (bar do, 中阴) and the moment of death. There are two aspects to Bardo: the key to combining and recognizing the illusory body. Combining has: three types of Bardo, totaling twelve. First, the Bardo of birth and death has three aspects: manifesting clear light, the need is to combine the path and nature, combining with three boundaries. The Bardo of dreams has three aspects: manifesting dreams, combining with very little noise and cutting off knowledge, the need is to combine day and night. The Bardo of existence has three aspects: manifesting the illusory body, the need is to attain Buddhahood in the Bardo, the boundaries of combining are: one should not be angry or jealous of karma, all phenomena should be regarded as illusory, and there should be no attachment to anything. Then, the Bardo of birth and death and the Bardo of dreams are combined with each other, the Bardo of dreams and the Bardo of birth and death are combined with each other, and the Bardo of birth and death and the Bardo of dreams are both combined with the Bardo of existence, totaling twelve. Then it stops. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
