Please cause it to arise. (referring to wisdom) Please bless it to arise immediately. Please bless it to arise in this place. Please bless it to arise during this session. Supreme Lama Rinpoche, please generate in the continuum of this person named (so and so), the supreme wisdom that is not contrary to wisdom. Please bless it to arise immediately. Please bless it to arise in this place. Please bless it to arise during this session. Pray three or five times in this way. Then do as before. Similarly, pray seven times in each session. Pray about twenty-one times each day. Then When cutting off the continuation, visualize the lineage lamas dissolving into the crown of the root lama. All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, Yidams, all dissolve into the heart. Dakinis and Dharma protectors all dissolve into the navel. Visualize the lama dissolving into oneself. Abide in the state of non-duality. Dedicate the root of virtue. Pray while walking. Pray while sitting. Pray when first waking up from sleep. This is the method of offering the Mandala of Lama Gampopa. The Actual Guidance: Namo Guru Homage to the Guru). Pray to the Lama, after the months, years, and days have passed, at the beginning of the actual practice, after making a brief preliminary practice such as taking vows, sit in the vajra posture, etc., do not meditate on Mahamudra, do not meditate on unborn, do not meditate on no-self-nature, do not meditate on non-duality, do not meditate on beyond mind, do not meditate on emptiness, do not meditate on no-self, do not meditate on bliss-clarity-non-thought, do not meditate on anything that is not established, do not meditate on anything that is desired. So what should be done? Do not cut off the past thoughts, do not welcome the future thoughts, the recognition of this moment's thought, this is called the key point. In short, do not think about the previous thought, do not think about the next thought, what kind of thought will arise in this moment? Like this, just look nakedly at this moment's thought. The flow of thoughts will completely stop, without distraction, thoughts will not arise. Once distracted, thoughts will suddenly arise. In the place where the thought arises, immediately settle down, just look at it, the thought will naturally dissolve and enter the state of non-thought. Like this, whatever thought arises, settle down in the place where it arises, just look at it. In a not too long time, cut off the continuation in clarity. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Practice many times in a short period. By doing this repeatedly, after some time, you will recognize the nature of thoughts, and thus recognize the nature of all dharmas such as samsara and nirvana. At that time, as the scripture says, 'With wisdom, one completely knows the nature of all dharmas, and then one can be completely liberated from the three realms.' This will become a reality. This is the guidance of the main practice. Namo Guru! The subsequent secret instruction for the main practice is: even if you are not familiar with the previous practice, you should continue to practice. If you become lax after becoming familiar, you should also be diligent. You should do this: first perform the preliminary practices such as confession, and in the main practice, do not practice Mahamudra etc., do not chase after past thoughts etc., just like before. Now, this very moment of awareness is called the co-emergent Dharmakaya Therefore, the thought of 'my mind', 'I' is the Dharmakaya. This very awareness itself, in the moment of manifestation, abides free from all elaborations. Light has no birth, no cessation, no abiding, and no substance, free from all elaborations such as edge and center. This itself is the nature of Dharmakaya. Therefore, do not have any desires, do not cling to anything, let awareness naturally relax and abide freely. The so-called relaxed awareness without desire is bliss, clarity, and non-thought. This is not something to be sought separately. In this state, if conceptual thoughts arise, do not cling to the thoughts as before, let them relax naturally. Whatever thoughts arise will become the spur of diligence, and you should recognize it when it arises. By relaxing repeatedly in this way, you will later be able to recognize the nature of thoughts etc. as before. Do not let such secret instructions fall into the four mistakes, do not fall into the four wrong paths, and the four yogas will naturally manifest. If you do not confuse these two sets of four key points and practice continuously, then for that person, the meaning of Mahamudra and Madhyamaka etc., all the views of sutras, tantras, treatises, and secret instructions will appear as revelations or help. Later, all phenomena such as appearances and distractions will appear as revelations or help, just like fire spreading in a dry forest. If all appearances and sounds become help, then let alone the virtuous actions such as the seven-branch offering. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
