Someone asked: 'Is this because one is already accustomed to it?' The master replied: 'This is because one has not fully realized the essence. It can also be said that one is not accustomed to it, but in reality, it is because the meditation time is not long enough.' Someone asked: 'Then, as long as one has this body formed by karma, is it impossible to go without Samadhi (meditative absorption) and post-Samadhi?' The master replied: 'It is not like that. Even if one has this body formed by karma, if one meditates for a long time, one can be liberated in this very life without Samadhi and post-Samadhi.' Someone asked: 'Then, what is the reason that habits naturally arise the moment one loses mindfulness?' The master replied: 'This is because clinging is not purified. If one meditates for a long time, clinging is purified, and mindfulness cannot grasp, and one will be liberated without Samadhi and post-Samadhi.' Someone asked: 'If the essence manifests and one dies without mixing with Samadhi and post-Samadhi, will the arising of the Bardo (intermediate state) cease?' The master replied: 'It will cease to arise, without a doubt.' Someone asked: 'Then, won't the thoughts that mindfulness does not grasp now become obstacles?' The master replied: 'That will not become an obstacle. Those thoughts cannot accumulate karma, just like sowing seeds in the sky, there is no place to produce fruit. The key is to realize that everything is unborn.' Someone asked: 'If one does not grasp the essence during deep sleep or dreaming, will one be able to grasp the essence in the Bardo?' The master replied: 'Even if one does not grasp the essence during sleep and dreaming, one can grasp it in the Bardo. During sleep and dreaming, the essence becomes less clear than now; in the Bardo, the essence becomes clearer than now, and it is easier to grasp than now.' Someone asked: 'If mindfulness does not grasp, the essence will not come, so are the thoughts that arise naturally grasped by mindfulness, or will the previous thoughts cease? Is it necessary to hold on without considering whether mindfulness exists or not?' The master replied: 'The thoughts that mindfulness does not grasp will dissipate the moment mindfulness grasps them. It is not necessary to hold on without considering whether mindfulness exists or not.' Someone asked: 'If one can keep mindfulness without distraction, will it help to mix Samadhi and post-Samadhi? Even if mindfulness does not grasp, will thoughts not cause harm, obstacles, or hindrances?' The master replied: 'Yes, it will help. Even if mindfulness does not grasp, thoughts will absolutely not cause harm, obstacles, or hindrances.' Someone asked: 'Besides grasping mindfulness and keeping it without distraction, is there anything else to practice?' The master replied: 'Besides the prompting of mindfulness, there is nothing else to practice.' Someone asked: 'Besides simply meditating on the essence, is it necessary to have generation stage and recitation?' The master replied: 'If one recites some mantras, one will receive the blessing of speech, so one should recite mantras, and one does not need to visualize deities. One should recite in the state of clear light.' This is the question and answer. Also, the precious master said: 'Let Dharma be Dharma, let Dharma be the path, eliminate the confusion on the path, and transform confusion into wisdom.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
