Moreover, the pacification of disease is the natural order of things. Initially, it does not enter with aim and effort, it does not dwell in the middle, and ultimately it does not cling. The individual (Sanskrit: Pudgala) associated with this path is of four types: the lineage of the Great Bodhisattva (Sanskrit: Mahā-bodhisattva), who needs to hear the time of the Śrāvaka (Sanskrit: Śrāvaka); one's own lineage needs to consult the Lama (Guru) when one has not realized; the lineage is the time of the Pratyekabuddha (Sanskrit: Pratyekabuddha), and others can also realize it themselves; the lineage is the time of the Bodhisattva, and both self and other benefits can be accomplished. The lineage of the Bodhisattva is able to mix the self and other streams, which is the great Bodhisattva period. Feeling exists in the Form Realm, which is happiness; feeling exists in the Desire Realm, which is suffering; feeling exists in the Formless Realm, which also arises. This is a small birth union, which is equanimity (Sanskrit: Upekṣā). Praying to the Lama (Guru) and Sangye (Buddha) is the best method. The oral teachings of Lama Rinpoche (Precious Guru), when Lobpon (Teacher) was in Lhasa, also covered the outer curtain. Instructions to Lobpon Tsultrim Yeshe. He said to me: Guru Namaḥ (Tibetan: གུ་རུ་ན་མོ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: गुरु नमः, Sanskrit Romanization: Guru namaḥ, Literal meaning: Guru, I bow). Praying to the Lama Sangye is the best method, so from the depths of the heart, blood, and bones, with strong devotion, pray for the meaning you want. This also fulfills the need to make up for vows. All the meanings you want are the root of accomplishments, and they can be achieved. For virtuous actions, especially following the Lama's instructions, is the supreme offering. Thinking of the Lama as the Buddha and praying to him, there is no Dharma more powerful than this. This is the teaching of Lama Rinpoche. Only cherishing oneself, unable to bear even a little bit of bad circumstances, like picking at a scab. Always complaining, all the afflictions are aggravated, there is no greater demon than this, this is the Rakshasa's bull head. Only thinking of oneself will lead to failure. This is a huge obstacle to not giving merit. The storm in one's own heart destroys all happiness. Merely bringing past actions to the present, suppressing oneself, one cannot obtain liberation. Lamas Geshes (Spiritual Friends), even ants and mosquitoes must be taken care of, only caring for oneself, think about whether one can be liberated from Samsara. The necessity of practice and meditation is for the perfect fulfillment of self and other benefits. The desire for external and internal desires, like a thirsty person craving water, is the action of a demon. Not respecting the Lama. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The actions of demons: Not trusting and disrespecting the teachings are the actions of demons. Not abiding in samadhi and always being distracted are the actions of demons. Thinking 'I' and cherishing oneself are the actions of demons. Being attached to this life and not changing one's mind are the actions of demons. Even if someone says 'There is a black spot on your face,' one is not happy. Know that it is because of these that one has been bound in samsara before. Very important! Strive to take the opposite approach. The essence of inner desire is: climbing an iron shalmali tree, or extracting with a shriveled fruit. The sutras say: Meditate like the poison halahala. For external desires: Meditate as the Buddha and Ananda said. For the antidote to disrespecting the lama: As stated in the 'Fifty Verses on the Guru,' do not always focus on faults, but see virtues, regard the lama as a Buddha, and pray from the depths of your heart. For the antidote to not trusting the teachings: Regard the teachings as nectar, regard yourself as a patient, and understand the virtues of the teachings. Understand that the way to overcome self-cherishing is to cure the disease of samsara. See what virtues you have. Think about whether you are cherished by everyone as they say. For the antidote to not abiding in samadhi and being distracted: Samadhi is the lama, samadhi is the wish-fulfilling jewel. Not being distracted during the day is the path of all Buddhas, there is no way to not be distracted at night, not being distracted is the path of all Buddhas. Meditate continuously like a river. The antidote to changing one's mind: Changing or not changing one's mind is very important. See what happiness beings in samsara have. Ultimately, one can only go to the three lower realms, and even with effort, one can only go to the higher realms. Think about what good and bad things you have done before. Think as Rinpoche says. In general, if there is no compassion, one cannot truly practice the Dharma. Cherishing oneself is something everyone has. This cherishing is like salt in all Dharmas. Know that you must strive to cultivate bodhicitta with emptiness. The Lamp of Precious Instructions on the Great Seal Homage to the noble lamas! A person who wishes to realize the Great Seal should practice in this way: The mind that is born together [with phenomena] is the Dharmakaya (ཆོས་ཀྱི་སྐུ།,dharmakāya,法身), the appearance that is born together [with phenomena] is the light of the Dharmakaya. Meditate on the equality of samsara and nirvana, all dharmas in their own nature. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
