Therefore, the assembly of the true Dharma is accomplished. Because of the accomplishment of the true Dharma, one should excellently and thoroughly study those six objects of learning. The term "not falling away from the vehicle" means that the vehicle of the Bodhisattvas, which perfectly accomplishes the benefit of oneself and others, does not fall away from the path of non-abiding Nirvana through wisdom and compassion. This is shown by the term "guarding the Bodhicitta." Because the Bodhisattva does not fall away from his own vehicle, it is shown that one should excellently and thoroughly study those six objects of learning. In this context, the term "Bodhicitta" indicates the vehicle of the Bodhisattva. The vehicle of the Bodhisattvas is the path of non-abiding Nirvana, which perfectly accomplishes the benefit of oneself and others. It is also called Bodhicitta and true aspiration. In this context, the term "Bodhicitta" refers to the intention that focuses on unsurpassed Bodhi and all sentient beings. The intention that focuses on unsurpassed Bodhi is the perfect benefit for oneself, so it does not abide in Samsara. The intention that focuses on all sentient beings is the perfect benefit for others, so it does not abide in Nirvana. That itself is called true aspiration. All true aspirations are summarized into five types: the aspiration of generating the mind, the aspiration of birth, the aspiration of the field of activity, the true aspiration, and the great aspiration. The detailed distinctions of these are as explained earlier in the context of being skilled in the means of accomplishing the intention. The term "guarding" indicates not falling away from that vehicle. It does not fall away through wisdom and compassion. Because wisdom realizes all Dharmas as they truly are, the realm of intention that focuses on unsurpassed Bodhi increases, the perfect benefit for oneself is accomplished, and one does not abide in Samsara. Because compassion does not abandon all sentient beings, the realm of intention that focuses on all sentient beings increases, and the perfect benefit for others

Since one does not abide in the perfectly accomplished Nirvana, therefore wisdom and compassion are the unsurpassed Bodhi, and they cause the realm of thought focused on all sentient beings to increase, and also cause the benefit of oneself and others to be perfectly accomplished, and since one does not abide in Samsara and Nirvana, therefore one will not completely degenerate from that vehicle and will protect it. Therefore, one should properly and diligently study those six bases of learning, and this should be combined in this way. The so-called 'without hesitation' means that hesitation is an obstacle to all true accomplishments, and the spiritual friends of Bodhisattvas can completely eliminate all hesitation. Therefore, relying on a spiritual friend is 'without hesitation,' which is indicated by 'relying on a spiritual friend.' By relying on a spiritual friend, one becomes without hesitation, and because of being without hesitation, one should properly and diligently study those six bases of learning. This is how it is taught. Now, if one possesses various aspects, one should recognize them as the virtuous friend of a Bodhisattva. How many aspects make the actions of a virtuous friend meaningful? With how many aspects is a virtuous friend skilled in the place of the basis of faith? How many actions of a virtuous friend are there in taming others? How many aspects are perfected when a Bodhisattva relies on a virtuous friend? When does a Bodhisattva recognize that it is time to listen to the Dharma from a virtuous friend? The virtuous friend of a Bodhisattva abides in the person who speaks the Dharma. How many are not to be considered? If one possesses eight aspects, one should recognize them as the virtuous friend of a Bodhisattva: abiding in morality, being learned, possessing realization, possessing compassion, possessing compassion, being without fear, possessing patience, not being completely weary in mind, and possessing virtuous words. With five aspects, the actions of a virtuous friend are meaningful: acting for the benefit of all sentient beings without being asked, knowing the benefits of this life and the next life as they truly are, and benefiting by leading them into the right path,
