It is not formed into a shape. There are no tangible obstructing particles. "Dharma" means the clarity of the Dharmakaya. "Itself" means pervading the wisdom body. Showing the way of pervading, it is like oil pervading sesame seeds. Showing that the body and wisdom are inseparable, it is like a conch shell and whiteness are inseparable. Showing that dharma and dharmata are inseparable, it is like water and the moon are inseparable. Again, great sovereign, listen! The way of speaking of "that one" is like this: If you say that the nine vehicles are characterized by dharma, then, the nine stages have names. Will the names change? This is the question. If you say the names will not change, then, can the names be changed or not? If the names can be changed, then that is change, this is the answer. If you say they will not change, then there is fault and contradiction in saying the nine stages are characterized by dharma. If you say the entity of dharma is not established as a characteristic, then you say it is without self-nature. If it is not, will it not become nihilism? If you ask this, the answer is, for example, like the moon in water. If you ask, how do you know that such a thing exists? The answer is, you know it through the tantras and scriptures, and it is not contradictory to logic. Why is it logic? The answer is, because it is knowable. If you understand it in this way, then the object to be proven without fault is dharmata, the proposition without fault is without self-nature, the reason without fault is understanding the meaning of the knowable, the example without fault is the moon in water, and the result of the establishment without fault is the body and wisdom being non-dual. The chapter on showing the way to establish the debate of the Jewel Debate Wheel, this is the first chapter. Again, the great sovereign asked: O great teacher, please show the basis, path, and result of the debate. The great teacher said: Great sovereign, listen! For this Jewel Debate Wheel, you should understand it in this way. For example, a sharp sword can cut through wood, stone, sentient beings, and iron without sharpness, etc., without exception. Similarly, this Jewel Debate Wheel can also cut through the dharma of the characteristic vehicle, and the dharma of black disputes, etc., without exception. Therefore, it is called the weapon of jewel debate. The reason why it is called the Jewel Debate Wheel is because all wheels

There are three: the wheel of outer dispute, the wheel of inner dispute, and the wheel of great secret dispute. What are they? They are determined by the three bases, paths, and fruits of delusion. That is also shown separately. There are four types of bases of delusion: the base of delusion of the body, the base of delusion of speech, the base of delusion of mind, and the base of delusion of objects. That is to say, without a base, there is no place for delusion. If asked which of the two, the base and the mind, is deluded, then the base is deluded. By what is the delusion caused? By ignorance. What is ignorance? The qualities of the base are vast and immeasurable, beyond words, but due to ignorance, they are mistaken for the qualities of the Buddha. How do the qualities of the base exist? The teaching of the qualities of the body is: self-existing, spontaneously accomplished, the essence is indestructible. The essence of great profound clarity is clear without right or left. Clear without front or back, it is the manifestation of wisdom. Because one does not recognize the clarity, the qualities of the body are unchanging, but due to the appearance of the mind, they are mistaken for changing. The teaching of speech itself being deluded from the base is: without a similar base, there is no place for delusion. In the speech itself, like a rock echo, because the mind is agitated in the three wheels, one is ignorant of the unobstructed and unhidden speech of the Buddha, and one is deluded by naming the speech and considering it a similar imitation. The teaching of mind itself being deluded from the base is: without a similar base, there is no place for delusion. The nature of mind is clear and pure. Like the center of the sky, it is originally free from boundaries, and like a water bubble, self-delusion suddenly arises. One assumes that the opening is the sky and establishes it in the mind. Taking the sky as a similar base, one is deluded by the absence of boundaries and center. The teaching of objects themselves being deluded from the base is: without a similar base, there is no place for delusion. The qualities of great profound clarity are unobstructed, and the qualities of the five colors arise clearly. The similar base of the delusion of objects is made of the five colors. Therefore, all delusions arise from the base. That is also shown by combining examples and meanings: the rope is not a snake, but it appears as a snake, just as the rope exists beforehand, one is deluded by the way it appears. If the rope itself were a snake, then it would be impossible to express in words that one is deluded by a snake. Why is that? Rope
