Thus spoke the Bhagavan: By acting in this way, victory in battle is assured. The first letter of the name is remembered to appear at the time of the directions. The vowel sections are not exhausted in five sections; ལ, ར, ལ, ཝ are also like that. ཤ, ཥ, ས, ཧ are the endings. The eight directions and intermediate directions are arranged in order. The letters of the name originate from vowels. One and nine are auspicious in one's own direction. ཀ etc. In one's own direction, two and ten are considered auspicious. ཙ etc. in one's own direction, three and eleven all come together. When the ཊ section resides in its own direction, four and twelve appear on the date. The ཊ section is in its own direction, on the fifth and thirteenth days. The པ section etc. are in their own direction, the dates are on the sixth and fourteenth. ཡ, ར, ལ, ཝ are in their own direction, seven and fifteen appear there.
