Furthermore, it also shows the path seen by oneself. Because it exists here, it can protect. Because all prior thinking must be used for writing, it is universal. If it is reversed, the writing will also be reversed. And this (thinking) is not here, therefore it should not be written. Whatever is not needed should not be written through thinking. For example, just like showing the examination of knowledge of non-provable objects. If saying "this (thinking) is also not here" is the invisible pervasive cause, then, in order to show that this is not yet established, it is said "in order to establish validity". Establishing validity is understanding the individual of validity, and for that purpose this (statement) is made, therefore it should be written. Whatever is needed should be written through thinking. For example, just like showing the examination of knowledge of objects that should be proven. This (statement) is also necessary, this is self-nature. If writing is done for that purpose, then it should not be written, because through the gate of reason etc., your own treatise has already completed the establishment of validity alone. Whatever has been completed should not be written through thinking for the purpose of establishment, just like food that has already been cooked. Establishing validity has also already been completed. If it is said to be contradictory to pervasiveness, then, in order to eliminate this, it is said "for the sake of scattering one's own treatise", this is the fifth reason. Scattering is thoroughly unfolding, it is a synonym for "thoroughly unfolding". Again, it is for the sake of exorcism rituals, or because of inability. This is another purpose of this (statement), that is, in order to understand the benefit of all beings, therefore, स्मर (藏文,梵文天城体,smara, remembrance) is understanding, that is, complete understanding. Whatever lacks complete understanding is विप्रस्मर (藏文,梵文天城体,viprasmara), that is, one's own treatise, such as the gate of reason etc., lacks complete understanding for determining validity. Even so, there, lacking direct perception understanding, this means that the definition of direct perception has not been specifically designated. Therefore, knowledge of two moons etc. will also become direct perception. Lacking extensiveness is also the same, that is, brief. Therefore, whatever is mentioned at the beginning, understanding is only partial
