Speaking of which, how can one determine whether these things exist or not? Those who see things as they are, before entering (into learning), do not have any valid means ( प्रमाण ,pramāṇa, pramana) to establish or refute the necessity, etc., because this is understood after entering (into learning). However, if someone who does not understand the necessity, etc., of the treatise wants to compose this treatise, then even those who have the ability to think will only have doubts from this treatise, and not certainty, because there is no valid means. This doubt also existed before the correct statement was made. Then, is the statement of necessity, etc., meaningless? Therefore, it should be said that some people say that the entry (into learning) of those who have the ability to understand is certainly based on certainty, which is not true, because just like farmers, it can also be seen that they enter (into learning) from doubt. Someone might think that although farmers, etc., have doubts about the fruit that will be produced, they must have the certainty of obtaining this fruit. Therefore, they think that because certainty comes first, they enter (into learning). But this is not correct, because here it only means that whoever enters (into learning) for whatever purpose, even if he has doubts about that purpose, he will enter (into learning). Because it is possible to have certainty about the goal to be achieved, it is said that the entry (into learning) with certainty in advance, but farmers, etc., do not enter (into learning) for the purpose of achieving the goal. What is it then? They enter (into learning) for the sake of the fruit, but since there is a possibility of obstacles, etc., to the fruit, there is no certainty. Therefore, they only enter (into learning) because of doubt in advance. In addition, for the initial entry (into learning), that is, for the purpose of determining the goal to be achieved, there is no certainty about the goal to be achieved, because it is precisely for that goal that one enters (into learning). In addition, their certainty about the goal to be achieved is also relative to the fruit that will be produced, thinking that this fruit will certainly be realized in that future form, or thinking that there is no lack of obstacles and auxiliary conditions, it will certainly

Is it the nature of being able to accomplish the desired result without eating? Regarding this, after some consideration, firstly, it is not the nature of reason, because the absence of co-operators and the proximity of obstacles are possible. Although it is sometimes observed that things like rice cannot accomplish future results, therefore, in all cases, doubt cannot be eliminated, because it has been said: The power of the aggregate of results, etc., is related to the result of change, uncertainty is itself, because obstacles, etc., exist. If it is said to be the second case, then this is very unreasonable, because all entries that are preceded by valid cognition are of such a nature. Therefore, the teacher said, "The possibility of this is the absence of obstacles." In this way, the distinction is made for the possibility of following recollection. However, since the result is also determined in this way, the accomplishment itself is uncertain. For such an entry, the determination of the true result as a preliminary entry is also not established, because those who see the other shore cannot determine that there are no obstacles, etc. Someone might think that although it is not possible to determine that there are no obstacles in reality, however, if it is assumed that there are no obstacles, then at that time it can be determined that the result will definitely be obtained from this. Such certainty is only possessed by entries that are preceded by valid cognition, and not by entries that are not preceded by valid cognition. If this is not the case, then there is no difference between entries that are preceded by valid cognition and those that are not. That certainty also only does not arise from the external meaning of language, because that and that are not related, because it is non-valid cognition, if you think so. This is true, but if some cases of non-entry that arise from language are established, then all of these will change at that time. How many results have not become manifest, because some have heard of the great benefits and evil destinies of entering and withdrawing, so some cannot rely on the words of the scriptures as a path.
