Not abandoning what is obtained is to hold completely. These two also exist in things like the king of cattle, because it is heard that umbrellas, whisks, and large drums are held entirely and completely. Examples that contradict the law of non-reversion, such as not fully showing reversion, and inverted reversion. Non-reversion, for example, like jaundice, etc., is not without attachment, because it is said. Whatever is not without attachment is not a speaker, for example, like a piece of stone. If it is said that although this is different from a piece of stone, it is not different from all speakers because it is not without attachment, because there is doubt. Not showing reversion, for example, sound is impermanent because it is made, like space, etc. This is a correct example in the ultimate truth, but because of the speaker's fault, it is a similar example. Because for inference following the meaning of others, the speaker's merits and faults should be examined separately. Like this, whatever is permanent is necessarily seen as unmade, for example, like space, etc. By distinguishing with such words, because the speaker did not show the reversion that precedes the pervasion, it is called not fully showing reversion. Inverted reversion, for example, whatever is unmade is seen as permanent. Here, it should be shown that the establisher pervades the contradictory. Therefore, whatever is the contradictory of what is to be established, it will necessarily become the reversion of the establisher. The eighteen similar examples have been explained. Because the opponent does not establish with the subject, reason, and similar examples, it will become a similar establishment. Like this, the refutations put forward by the rebuttal will become refutations, because they will hinder the accomplishment of the meaning desired by the former rebuttal. It has been shown that stating an incomplete establishment is a refutation. Therefore, just like the establishment, the characteristics of the refutation are not distinguished separately, but explained separately. Similar refutation

And the apparent is that those refutations are spoken by the opponent. When the former proponent refutes the incorrect fault, it appears to be a refutation, called a counter-conclusion. Showing that an incorrect fault is a reversed answer, that is, a counter-conclusion. For example, stating the fault of the subject when the subject has no fault, stating the fault of the reason when the reason has no fault, and stating the fault of the example when the example has no fault, is to know the reason for the apparent refutation. Among them, some others say that the proposition, the reason, the example, the application, and the conclusion, having five members, are what establishes it. For example, saying "sound is impermanent" is the proposition. "Because it is made" is the reason. "Whatever is made is seen as impermanent, for example, a pot, etc." is the example. "Likewise, sound is also made" is the application. "Therefore, it is impermanent" is the conclusion. The reason with the ability to understand in the example, and the application to the subject, is called the application. Showing that the proposition is also a repetition is the conclusion. It is not like that, because of the concomitance, the exclusion, and the property of the subject, also by the third, for the sake of accomplishing the meaning to be established. Thus, in the time of debate, saying the combination of pervasive precedence, saying "Whatever is made is seen as impermanent, for example, like a pot" is, in the example, showing the pervasion of what is to be established with what establishes it, is showing the concomitance. In the dissimilar class, also in the opposite of what is to be established, what establishes it, is showing the exclusion. For example, because there is no impermanence, it does not become made, for example, like space, etc. From "sound is also made" the property of the subject is shown. The proposition and the conclusion should not be stated in all forms. Likewise, in the combination of those with the same property, stating the concomitance, the exclusion is understood by force, so there is no need to say it separately.
