Therefore. It has already been shown that establishing the thesis that the proof of the harmful one is established is meaningless. Thus, if the proof is established only by the harmful one, then doubt will not be reversed in anyone. If doubt is reversed, then it is not an external object, and it is not an external object from the object to be established, so the pervasion on it is the internal pervasion. Now there is no mention of external pervasion. Therefore, how does this external pervasion become this side? If, again, a thesis is established on a separately determined object, and a pervasion is held on the object that has become external to it, then there is also a teaching that eliminates the fault of holding other dharmas as meaningless, saying that if the proof is established only by the harmful one, then the other reasons become meaningless. Furthermore, because of the difference of the existing reason, external pervasion is not possible. If the existing object is not established, then the debate will not arise. If the established pervasion is held on it, why not hold the pervasion on the object to be established? Also, it is not an example. It has been shown that the pervasion of the reason seen in a certain object is realized, and then the pervasion is held on it. The pervasion is also seen in the object to be established. Otherwise, how can it be an external pervasion, since it is not appropriate to understand it wrongly? Thus, since the establishment is meaningless, the pervasion of the external object should be taken. If so, therefore, according to your present acceptance, how can the reason not be seen in the object? Also, if there is no difference in seeing, then establish the pervasion of the external object. If the pervasion is held by seeing in both, is there also a part of the pervasion of the external object? Why do you only diligently protect the pervasion? I wish that the reason would not become meaningless, saying that only the harmful one enters, and because the basis of holding the pervasion is the object, it is meaningless to establish the internal pervasion for the sake of establishing the object. Is it not? That is not the same for the internal and external pervasions. Therefore, holding the external pervasion is only clinging to the difference of the existing reason. The limbs of the proof that depend on the example are only for the foolish.

Only that will surely generate joy. To understand these, the teacher shows a close example by saying, "Whatever exists is momentary, like a pot." Those with distracted minds do not rely on the combination of metaphors. Therefore, for those attached to metaphors, the example of a pot is shown. This is unnecessary and meaningless for those who have inner understanding. This is called the intermediate verse. Now, if asked how it can be determined that inference must exist in the similar class and must not exist in the dissimilar class, the similar and dissimilar classes are distinguished from having or not having the dharma to be proven. Regarding this, where should the presence or absence of the reason be grasped? All things that possess the dharma to be proven are generally the similar class, and those that do not possess it are the dissimilar class. Existing in the similar class and not existing in the dissimilar class are, in order, concomitance and contradiction. These should also be grasped in any subject of dharma, that is, where it can be grasped. If whatever exists here is contrary to non-momentariness, and it is established by the power of valid cognition, then whatever exists is momentary. This is grasped in the subject of dharma to be proven by concomitance. In order to grasp the pervasiveness of the visible reason, and because there is no other dharma, even if it exists, it has the meaning of following it. If so, then how is it said to be a non-common uncertain reason? The fault of the non-common reason depends on ignorance. Because pervasiveness is not grasped, it should be shown, not all included. This is shown by saying: ignorant minds are immersed in other dharmas themselves, relying on such a manifestation of arrogance, because it is to be heard, this shows that it is a non-common uncertain reason. Because there is no example, and because one does not want pervasiveness to exist in the subject of dharma to be proven, if pervasiveness is not grasped, then both will have doubts, therefore it is uncertain. Or, the manifestation of ignorance regarding the non-commonness of the very thing to be heard
