Therefore, it will be explained that "ground" is manifested through the power of the word of the two valid cognitions (pramāṇa). Therefore, it should be understood that what enables the attainment of the non-deceptive manifestation is the valid cognition itself. Is the world the valid cognition that enables the attainment of the commitment and is non-deceptive? As it is said, knowing is also what enables the attainment of manifestation, and because it is non-deceptive, it is called valid cognition. Therefore, the meaning of the word valid cognition, non-deceptive, is the worldly person himself. How does a momentary cognition enable the attainment of meaning? Alas! Is it the valid cognition that sends the person to the realm of meaning, or draws the meaning to the realm of the person to be attained? In any case, because it is momentary, it will not enable attainment. So, how is it? The very act of enabling attainment is the act of causing entry into the realm to be attained. Therefore, the act of enabling attainment of valid cognition is not the act of causing entry. The act of causing entry is also the act of making the realm of entry manifest. When this makes the realm of entry manifest, then the person enters and the meaning is attained, therefore, the function of valid cognition is completed. If the act of making manifest is the function of valid cognition, then is non-deception the act of making manifest? Is that how it should be done? Why is it said that non-deception is what enables the attainment of manifestation? If it is said that the act of making manifest is the act of enabling attainment, then saying that what enables the attainment of manifestation will be understood as the valid cognition that enables the attainment of manifestation. If that is the case, then it is illogical and has no meaningful connection. For example, the act of making manifest is not valid cognition, but it is the act of enabling attainment. However, what has been done to enable attainment? If asked, it will be said that because it makes manifest, it causes entry. The cause of causing entry is said to be making manifest. It is by the method of making manifest that entry is caused, and not by any other means. Therefore, for the time being, in this way, by the reason of enabling attainment, the manifest is valid cognition, but not the only one. Therefore,

Therefore, that which makes fully manifest obtain is called valid cognition. The only meaning of this is: it is not that meaning is obtained solely through knowledge, but rather through many collections. Among these collections, some are close to obtaining in some way. Knowledge is brought close to obtaining by showing the object of entry, and not by other means. For example, for something to be killed, some of the king, the powerful, the letter, and the evil caste kill in some way, while the master kills by ordering the killing. Therefore, the one who orders the killing is called the master. Here, it is not that the one who orders the killing is called the killer because it is not a component of killing, but only the component of killing. Similarly, consciousness is called obtaining by making entry, in order to show that the one who shows is called the obtainer. Here, it is not that the one who fully shows, which is not a component of obtaining, is called valid cognition, therefore calling it valid cognition is not established. Therefore, it is logical to say that the one who fully shows and obtains is not valid cognition, but only the one who shows. If it is said that direct perception is not the one who makes the object shown obtain, because it has nothing beyond the moment, then what is obtained? Inference is also not, because what is grasped by inference is not an object, and what is not grasped cannot be obtained. Then, the objects of knowledge are also of two kinds: what is grasped and what is particularly fixated on. What is grasped is what is grasped as an object or non-object. What is particularly fixated on is what is particularly fixated on as "this is here at this time." Therefore, like a moment, what is not grasped and fixated on is not an object of entry. How is this not an object of entry? For something that cannot be definitely named in terms of place, time, and manner, how can one enter something that is uncertain? Because it is not something that can be named, it is not an object of entry, therefore it cannot be obtained. The moment grasped by direct perception cannot
