Because there is no certainty. Because all the agents of sound are too much to be spoken of. Therefore, in order to clearly express what is intended to be said, a convention with the characteristic of showing intention is made. For that which is not made by a person, there is no intention to speak and no convention, because there is no intention of anyone. There is no certainty and it is not known. Nature is certain. It is not right to be certain for others. If it is said that without relying on convention, sound would be mixed with meaning by its very nature, then, because there is no reliance here, it has already been said that there is no certainty. Furthermore, if the essence is the essence of what is to be said and what is said, then even the one who wants to say cannot definitely combine it as he wishes. Convention would also become meaningless. The different nature, what is to be understood by the senses, is for understanding oneself. It does not depend on generality, etc., like the difference of blue, etc. The understanding that depends on it is not the nature of things. What is it then? It is a convention, like the king's mark, etc. Whatever is conventional is not necessarily its nature, because it is arbitrary. Therefore, distinguishing nature from convention, from where does clear certainty arise? The convention that is used according to one's own will can work on this, but not on others, this hindrance does not exist. Because when people act according to their own will, it clearly shows the nature, but it is not the other, this certainty does not exist. For whom, self-controlled by will, for him, what is certainty? Therefore, convention is feasible, intention itself will not become clear. This is the intermediate verse. Because intellect is one-sided. Others are also like that, for example, fire can dispel cold, this is true. Others say so. Others abandon the characteristics of non-human teachings and want to prove that intellect is reliable in other ways, therefore, for the words of intellect that have no understanding, the side of intellect

Because it is one, it will not be reversed. For example, saying "fire is the enemy of snow" and so on, such language is true. Therefore, this is like: because the taste is similar, the texture is the same, so it is like dyeing in one container. Because it is a mistake with remainder, avoid this kind of situation by understanding the reason. The teacher himself pointed out the error in the inference with the remainder of reason, so he excluded such inference. For example, just as the taste is proved to be the same by the same essence of the fruits, because it falls into the disease of one container, just like seeing, it proves the dyeing of the unseen fruit. He said that this is not to be proved. It has been said before that this is not the reason to be proved. We believe that if the characteristic of the scriptures is that they are able to discern things, and are able to completely prove and negate all things through measurement as they are, then even without sound, doubt about things will arise, because at some point it will not deceive. In addition, there is no understanding that contradicts what the sage sees. If it is said that the realm of ordinary people is able to prevent the cold of fire, then all scriptures that aim at the true meaning are also able to completely assert things that aim at the true meaning, because they contradict the measurement. If someone says that this is not the most reasonable, then he has not eliminated the contradiction, nor has he explained the meaning of the scriptures, but has made the person constant, as the author, things constant, transcending the senses, what the senses take and things, the contradiction between cause and the destruction of things, and the distinction between the scope of use of the two measurements. Or, the inference that relies on the scriptures, and the person who expresses contradictions and claims to be the true meaning, is like a prostitute winning with lies. The essence of the person has no transfer and acceptance before and after, has a suitable cause for gathering, and through the essence of blessing, etc., in order as the author and enjoyer of karma and fruit, something is constant, not momentary, which transcends the law of things.
