What is accepted as direct perception? It is either without limit or solely independent. It is not the realm of dualistic or threefold grasping. Only one realm is attained, becoming undifferentiated. Therefore, it does not grasp at inherent existence. It does not grasp at the distinctions of meaning. Even if it grasps, it becomes wishful thinking. At that time, it transforms into mental strength, etc. Because it is not other. If it is said to be non-other, is it not a result? If it is not that itself, then it is not an object to be grasped. The various transformations have the same meaning. Because of grasping at multiplicity, some distinctions of the Samkhyas are not accepted. In each and every essence, in everything, the principal atoms exist individually. In the action of perfect combination, it is manifested in the essence of the result. Among the three natures of atoms, how can one know the result as one? Even if different kinds are combined, it is not accepted that they completely transform. If two essences are not accepted, then the single essence of the result is attained. In the various natures of meaning, the realm of the senses is distinct. Therefore, abandoning the Samkhya system, the essence of each is supreme. Entering into what is not a single realm is not said to be valid cognition. It is not memory because it has not been experienced. If it is said that both arise simultaneously, then that is not valid cognition, relying on another. It is either impaired or is memory. Because memory is said to be superior, then extremely clear power becomes meaningless to others. The practitioners say that the wisdom of the senses of the person that arises from combining existence and correctness is direct perception. In that, there is no manifestation of existence. It is understood by saying the action of combination. The combination that is definitely correct, if it is said to be shown in existence itself, why is it for showing the moon? Speaking of the distinctions of the senses, it is not understood by merely possessing existence. What is it that is not accomplished? If it is said that one wishes to merge and pacify in which sense, that which merges is also from others. There are also those who know, such as eye medicine, etc. If it is said to be investigated in fame in that way, then sound is not the realm of the senses. If it is said to be combined with meaning at all times, because one sees that there is an interruption between form and sound, and also holds the great, then that harms the uninterrupted. The collection of causes of wisdom, after abandoning speech, what is valid cognition? How is the gap the meaning? Or why add the arising of wisdom? Meaning and sense, mind, person.

Apart from actions and actors, how can we speak of a collection that generates direct perception? Cows, etc., are things related to combination, measuring cows, etc. For what is truly related to things, sense consciousness is not capable, because it does not show itself in the knowable realm. Form, etc., are the objects of the senses, and the knowledge of non-things can always be a place for direct perception. If you want the arising of wisdom, saying that another thing is the result, then you will not obtain another thing. If the arising of wisdom of things is not the result, because there is no other result from it. If the arising of wisdom is another thing, then the increase and decrease come from its own cause, from the collection of the conformity of measure. If it is not another thing, then it is meaningless. When a person changes and wisdom arises, if it arises, it becomes impermanent. If the self (pudgala) does not change, then the word "measure" is not used for it. The first chapter of the Compendium of Valid Cognition is the chapter on Direct Perception. There are two kinds of inference, self-benefit is seeing things from a sign with three aspects. The result is the same as before, whether the object and nature are the same or not, is not what the self-character of those two should show. Because what is taken is different, so from that outside, it is shown from the perspective of seeing, etc. It is not saying its own nature, because it is known from the name, so it is another aspect. What is to be shown is the two aspects of mind, because it can also be seen in the non-general. It is not that, because what is expressed is the general. With the establishment of trustworthy words, it hinders things from outside of that. If it is established as non-different, then it is not, because it may also be different. Trustworthy words also do not deceive, because they are similar, so it is the subsequent inference. The object of inference and what is in accordance with it, do not exist in existence and non-existence themselves. Here, cognition is also the attainment itself, because it is based on the occasion of the knower. One by one and two by two aspects, are not the cause, but are made by things. Sound is permanent, because it is made, because it is a body, because it is not measurable. It is not a body, because it is audible. Because it is taken by the eye, it is impermanent. Some people think that because of reliable reasons, other dharmas should be inferred. Some people think that because dharma and the possessor of dharma are established, the relationship is what should be inferred. If the cause is established on the dharma, then what else can it infer? In this way, for the possessor of dharma itself, why not want what is to be inferred? If the relationship is not both, then
