Whoever admonishes the monks of Li-yul, or makes them return to lay life, or tells them to go wherever they please, after such expulsion, the Sangha gathered in the temple called Tsarma to discuss, and among the assembled Sangha in the temple, seven portions of golden tsampa and golden dough appeared, and the livelihood of five thousand monks was cut off by the king, turning into a situation where they could not maintain their livelihood for three months. At that time, some returned to lay life, and those who did not return to lay life, those who were preparing to leave, were unhappy because they had to separate from their parents, relatives, and homeland, and a great disturbance occurred. Many monks embarked on the road and went to the temple called Ong, where there was a huge stupa, which was split open by the king who believed in the wind god, and a golden bowl filled with pearls appeared from inside and was offered to the entire Sangha. Other patrons and powerful people also offered various kinds of necessities for life. After that, the monks went to the place of Doli Mesing, and used pearls to gather half a month's worth of necessities for life. Departing from Mesing, when the monks were residing in the temple called Kongnya, Vaishravana and the goddess Shri Devi manifested as a couple and resided there. They said to all the monks, "We will do meritorious deeds." After praying in this way, for half a month, they provided meals for the monks, and the goddess Shri Devi offered a leather bag filled with gold coins to the entire Sangha. The Sangha headed towards the land of the Red Faces (Tibet), and in the place of Pashen, they encountered wild beasts and could not pass through, (the wild beasts) said, "If there is another road, take it." At that time, the monks saw Vaishravana transformed into a white yak with a hump on its back and a nose ring. The monks said, "This yak with a hump is a domestic animal, let's follow it." At that time, the yak led them on a shortcut, and after four or five days, the monks arrived at a place called Tsai Bi in the land of the Red Faces (Tibet). At that time, the ruler of that place reported to the king of the Red Faces (Tibet) saying, "Many monks have come from the upper direction." At that time, the king's consort said to the king, "Monks have come from the empty direction, having lost their homes and wandering around.

If offerings of wealth and utensils are made, may we invite them to Tibet (གདོང་དམར་, present-day Tibet)? After receiving permission, the monks were welcomed with mounts and food, and they went to Tibet. Then, the Tibetan king and princess, along with their retinue, prostrated to the stupa and asked, 'Besides the Khenpos who are proficient in the Tripitaka, are there any others here who are as knowledgeable?' The Khenpo said, 'In places like Anxi, Shule, Bolu, and Kashmir, there are many monks who are as knowledgeable as these.' Immediately, messengers were sent to invite them, and all the monks were invited to Tibet. At that time, seven temples were built in Tibet. The offerings and the domain of the Three Jewels were also expanded compared to before, and the monks resided separately in the seven temples. After three or four years, a large smallpox sore appeared on the princess's heart, and when she fell ill, the princess prayed to the king, 'I cannot survive this illness. If I die, I will offer my slaves and wealth and livestock to the Three Jewels.' After saying this, she made the offering. Six hundred attendants were also given the vows of a lay practitioner and ordained. After that, the princess passed away. After the princess passed away, smallpox broke out in the kingdom of the Tibetan king, and many ministers and descendants of nobles died. At that time, the ministers gathered and reported to the king, 'Smallpox like this has never occurred in this kingdom before. Since many wandering monks who live by begging like us have come, the princess has also passed away, and many ministers and nobles have died. These monks should not be allowed to stay in the country; they should be expelled.' The king said, 'Whether they should be expelled or not, discuss it carefully again.' The ministers unanimously decided to expel the monks and reported to the king, 'It has been decided that no monks will be allowed to stay in the country; they will all be expelled.' The Tibetan monks angrily said, 'If these monks are expelled, we will not stay here either.' The ministers angrily said, 'You can go wherever you like as well.'
