Recollection, as well as the recollection of generosity, the recollection of discipline, and the recollection of deities. Among them, the recollection focused on the Buddha is indeed the subsequent recollection, and it applies to everything in the same way. Furthermore, how should these recollections be cultivated? Mentioning "each" and so on, it means that these recollections should be recollected and contemplated with the respective qualities of the Buddhas and so on, which is a concluding statement. Here, it is said that the Buddhas and so on are themselves the objects of recollection, because they are the places of recollection. Therefore, it would be very appropriate to say that one should recollect them with the collection of their respective qualities. So, what are the qualities of the Buddhas and so on? First of all, the qualities of the Buddha are: Thus, that Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, complete in knowledge and conduct, Sugata, knower of the world, tamer of beings, unsurpassed, teacher of gods and humans, Buddha, Bhagavan, and so on, are the qualities of the Tathagata. Thus, Bhagavan refers to all the beautiful fame in the world, which should be connected to all words, such as Thus Bhagavan, Thus Tathagata, which is also a concluding statement. Among them, Bhagavan is so because he has subdued desire and so on. Also, because he subdued the Mara who tried to create obstacles while dwelling under the Bodhi tree, he is also Bhagavan. On the other hand, he is Bhagavan because he possesses merit, and because he possesses sovereignty and so on. Tathagata means that he understands and comprehends the true nature of things as they are, therefore he is Tathagata. Also, because he speaks the truth as it is said, without changing it, he is also Tathagata. Arhat means that he has subdued the enemy of afflictions. Also, because he has destroyed the spokes of the wheel of samsara, he is also Arhat. Worthy of offerings with gains and respect.

Is an Arhat. The term "perfectly enlightened Buddha" means that he has perfectly and non-perversely awakened to all dharmas, therefore he is a perfectly enlightened Buddha. The term "endowed with knowledge and conduct" means that he is endowed with knowledge and conduct, such as wisdom and conduct, because he is endowed with discipline and samadhi, therefore he is endowed with knowledge and conduct. The term "Sugata" means that he goes to a beautiful place, therefore he is called Sugata. Also, because he goes and does not return, he is also Sugata, just like a completely cured plague. The term "knower of the world" means that because of destruction, it is the world. It is of two kinds, the sentient world and the container world. Because he knows them, he is the knower of the world, that is, in order to fully know the establishment of the twelve links of dependent origination of the sentient world, and in order to fully know the arising, abiding, and measure of the land and mountains, etc., of the container world, therefore he is called the knower of the world. Another explanation is that in order to fully know the good terms of the world, he is called the knower of the world. The term "unsurpassed tamer of beings" means that those who can be tamed are the tamed. They are both beings and the tamed, therefore they are the tamed beings. The one who tames them is the tamer of beings, that is, in order to tame them. The unsurpassed one is because he is superior to the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and here taming should be understood as attaining the noble path. Therefore, he will be tamed, and he will not become a wild nature again. The term "teacher of gods and humans" means that the reason why gods and humans are mentioned is because they are superior, or they are vessels of the noble path. Because he teaches without perversion, he is the teacher, because he teaches the qualities of the Tathagata in this way, and because he teaches the Dharma as he thinks, it is a well-differentiated teaching. The term "Buddha Bhagavan" means that because he has realized Suchness, he is called Buddha, this is hiding the end of the word.

Therefore. In one way, it is for the growth of wisdom, like the blooming of a lotus. Or, it is to awaken from the sleep of ignorance, like a person waking from sleep. This is the condensed meaning of these words, and the details should be understood from other treatises. The recollection of the Buddha has been explained. The qualities of the Dharma are well-spoken, etc., that is, the Dharma of the Bhagavan is well-spoken, directly visible, without disease, timeless, seeing this is meaningful, guiding, and the wise each know it with their own wisdom. Thus, the two kinds of Dharma, the Dharma of teaching and the Dharma of realization, are taught. Among them, the concise meaning is that "well-spoken" refers to the teaching of the Dharma with goodness in the beginning, middle, and end, and the rest refers to the teaching of the Dharma of realization. Because I was afraid of being too verbose, I did not elaborate. The qualities of the Sangha are well-entered, etc., that is, the Sangha of the Bhagavan's Shravakas is well-entered, uprightly entered, reasonably entered, harmoniously entered, that is, the four pairs and eight individuals. The Sangha of the Bhagavan's Shravakas is worthy of all offerings, worthy of supreme offerings, worthy of circumambulation, worthy of prostration, and is the unsurpassed field of merit in the world. Here, the concise meaning is that the qualities of the noble Sangha, both learners and non-learners, are taught, and the four phrases beginning with "well-entered" explain the qualities of accomplishment. The qualities of being worthy of offerings are taught by "worthy of all offerings," etc. The virtue of generosity is: How wonderful! The virtue of a great man is that among all the stains of stinginess, he dwells with a mind free from the stain of stinginess, performs complete offerings, extends his hand, rejoices in giving, and delights in giving alms, which is what I have obtained well.
