It is said, "Earth is not mine," therefore, I am not with form, nor am I in form, nor does form abide in me. Likewise, the remaining four aggregates should also be understood as empty. Aggregates are not made by Ishvara, not made by time, not made by nature, not made by essence, not made by Ishvara, nor are they without cause, but they arise from ignorance, karma, and craving, the treasury of knowledge should know. Holding vows and asceticism as supreme, falsely seeing perversions in oneself, and doubt, these three pervasive attachments, know them to be the obstructing gates of the city of liberation. Liberation depends on oneself, and no one else can help with this, so listen, keep vows, meditate, and strive for the four noble truths. Always study higher discipline, higher wisdom, and higher mind. More than one hundred and fifty trainings are perfectly included within these three. By subduing the body and guarding mindfulness, the Sugata has shown the one path. Therefore, one should strive to guard mindfulness, for by losing mindfulness, all dharmas will be destroyed. Life is full of harms, more impermanent than a water bubble struck by the wind, it is rare to have the leisure to wake up from breathing in and out, it is truly wonderful. The body ultimately becomes ashes, ultimately dries up, ultimately rots, ultimately becomes impure, without essence, ultimately breaks down, decays, and putrefies, know it to be of the nature of separation. The earth, Mount Sumeru, the ocean, the seven suns, even these embodied beings burned by fire will not become ashes, let alone the extremely fragile human body, what need is there to say. Thus, all of this is impermanent, selfless, without refuge, without protector, without a place to rely on, therefore, O best of men, extract your mind from the insubstantial samsaric water tree. Just as a single yoke hole in the ocean meets a turtle, it is more difficult to obtain a human body than an animal, so the king should make it fruitful by practicing the holy Dharma. If someone uses a golden vessel adorned with jewels to sweep up vomit, then if someone is born as a human but commits sins, that person is the most foolish. Abiding in a harmonious place, relying on a noble person.

Napa etc., having made good wishes for oneself, one has also accumulated merit in the past. You possess the four great wheels. Relying on a virtuous friend, practice celibacy. Therefore, as the All-Accomplished One has said, one should rely on the supreme being, the Victorious One. By relying on him, many have attained peace. Holding wrong views and animals, being a hungry ghost and being born in hell, without the command of the Victorious One and in the borderlands, being born as a barbarian and being foolish and mute, or any of the long-lived gods, are called the eight faults of not having leisure. Having obtained leisure after being separated from these, strive to reverse birth and rebirth. Be disgusted with samsara, the source of suffering such as poverty due to desire and death, sickness and old age, and listen to some of the faults of this. A father is one's own son, a mother is one's own wife, and those who have become enemies are friends. Because of the nature of reversal, there is nothing certain in samsara. Each one has drunk more milk than the four great oceans, yet still, those who follow sentient beings in samsara should drink more Dharma than that. The accumulation of bones of each individual has passed away as much as Mount Meru. The end of the mother is like a mustard seed. The number of mountains piled up cannot be contained by the earth. Having become Indra, worthy of worship in the world, due to the power of karma, one falls back to earth. Having become a wheel-turning king, one also becomes a slave in samsara. Having experienced the pleasure of touching the breasts and waists of heavenly maidens for a long time, one must again endure the unbearable touch of the wheel of grinding and cutting power in hell. Having been comfortable and pleasant to the touch of the feet, having stayed on the summit of Mount Meru for a long time, one must again think of suffering the unbearable pain of molten iron being chewed and flowing. Having frolicked and rejoiced with heavenly maidens, having played to the fullest extent with beautiful faces, one will again have one's hands, feet, ears, and nose cut off by forests of trees like razor-sharp leaves. Having gently flowed with heavenly daughters, having lived together with beautiful faces and golden lotuses, one must again enter the immeasurable rivers of hell, hot springs that endure heat and lose consciousness.
