Now I will not do it. The color of the body becomes unsightly, dislike of the seat, old flower garlands, stains on clothes, and dust appearing on the body that was not there before, these are called the five omens of death and transference from the heavens. They occur to the gods residing in the heavenly realms, like omens foretelling the death of people on earth. After transferring from the heavenly realms, if there is no remaining virtue, then one will involuntarily become an animal or fall into hell. Even the Asuras, because of their nature of envying the glory of the gods, have great suffering in their hearts. Even though they possess intelligence, they are obscured by the obscurations of samsara and cannot see the truth. Samsara is like that, therefore, birth among gods, humans, hell beings, and animals is not good; birth is a container of many harms, please know this. If the head or clothes suddenly fall off, in order to avert these, even abandoning what needs to be done, one should strive to not be reborn. There is nothing more supreme than that. Through discipline, meditation, and wisdom, attain the state of Nirvana, peace, tranquility, and purity, without aging, without death, and without exhaustion. Attain separation from earth, water, fire, wind, sun, and moon. Mindfulness, discrimination of dharma, diligence, joy, serenity, concentration, and equanimity, these seven are the limbs of enlightenment, the collection of virtuous deeds for attaining Nirvana. Without wisdom, there is no meditation, and without meditation, there is no wisdom. Whoever possesses both of these should regard the ocean of existence as if it were a black stain. The fourteen unelucidated questions in the world, which were well spoken by the Kinsman of the Sun (Shakyamuni Buddha), do not contemplate them, because that will not pacify the mind. From ignorance arises karma, from karma arises consciousness, from consciousness arises name and form, from name and form arise the six sense bases, from the six sense bases arises contact, this was spoken by the Able One (Shakyamuni Buddha). From contact arises feeling, from feeling arises craving, from craving arises grasping, from grasping arises becoming, from becoming arises birth. If there is birth, there will be sorrow, aging, poverty, death, and fears, and so on, of suffering.

The mass of suffering arises immensely; when birth ceases, all this will cease. Dependent arising is the Victor's, the most precious and profound of the treasury of teachings. Whoever truly sees this, sees the most supreme Buddha with wisdom. Right view, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration, right ending of deeds, all ends of actions. Right thought is the eightfold path; for the sake of pacifying this, one should meditate. This birth is suffering, called craving; that is its vast cause of arising. This cessation is liberation; to attain it is the noble eightfold path. Thus, to see the four noble truths, one should always strive diligently. Even householders who hold fortune in their laps can cross the river of afflictions with wisdom. Those who manifest the Dharma are not like crops that fall from the sky. Nor do they emerge from the earth like seeds; previously, they were ordinary beings dependent on afflictions. No need to be timid, no need to ask for much; this is the essential instruction for benefit. You should tame your mind; the Bhagavan said that the mind is the root of Dharma. Such advice to you is difficult even for learned monks to accomplish. Therefore, make your life meaningful by explaining the qualities of the nature of this practice. Rejoice in all the virtues of all beings, and dedicate your own virtuous three actions for the attainment of Buddhahood. Then, with this accumulation of merit, may you be empowered in the yoga of gods and humans in all worlds for countless lifetimes. By the conduct of the noble Avalokiteshvara, may you take care of many afflicted beings. From birth to old age, eliminate attachment and hatred, and in the Buddha-field, like Amitabha, become the protector of the world, with immeasurable life. Wisdom, discipline, generosity, great fame, stainlessness, may they increase in the sky of the heavens and on the earth. To humans on earth and youthful goddesses in the heavens, bring happiness and joy, and pacify them. Pacify the fear and death of afflicted sentient beings, attain the power of the Victorious One,
