I. Pride is the nature of seeking faults in others. Wisdom is the nature of seeking faults in conditioned things. Hatred and pride are the complete abandonment of others. Wisdom is knowing the complete abandonment of conditioned things. Therefore, in terms of characteristics, the practices of hatred, pride, and wisdom are of the same nature. Similarly, the practices of ignorance, views, and conceptualization are of an unstable and fluctuating nature. Therefore, ignorance is of the nature of change, so it is unstable. Views are of the nature of wrong views, so they are unstable. Conceptualization runs towards many objects to be conceptualized, so it is unstable. Because the characteristics of the dharma of ignorance are not realized, it is fluctuating. Views are distracted by the dharma of wrong views, so they are fluctuating, and conceptualization is frivolous, so it is fluctuating. Therefore, the practices of unstable and fluctuating ignorance, views, and conceptualization are of the same general nature. These are different from each other because of karma, as the monk said, in terms of the nature of karma, one is a child, and in terms of the nature of karma, one is a wise person. Therefore, it should be understood in this way. Walking, watching, acting, speaking, Sleeping, eating, dressing, in desires, Mild, rude, and completely changing people, The practice of desire, anger, and ignorance is spoken. Those who follow the nature of faults, In this world and the other, because of its power, Because of the easy change of various behaviors, Apply it to this in a reversed way from that. Having combined in this way, and knowing the characteristics and the opposing qualities to be abandoned, do not apply it to the wrong place. Because the yoga practitioner, wanting to increase this, should truly rely on such a teacher, or, if the teacher or Khenpo does not possess such qualities, then one should go to where there is a teacher with such qualities. The virtuous one, with his own qualities, The noble one can be seen from afar. Like the beautiful stainless land, Similar to the distant stars of autumn. When going there

If it is heard that anywhere afflictions and obstacles increase, or one is unable, or possesses such a state, then one should rely on the Vinaya spoken by the Tathagata, because by relying on it, one will benefit oneself. As it is said in the Sutras, the one who speaks is the one who speaks thus, and as it is said, it is thus spoken in the Sutras, and the teacher also speaks accordingly, therefore these are the ones who speak accordingly. The Blessed One also said: If one cannot find a virtuous and wise companion with whom to practice, one should wander alone like an elephant in the forest, just as a king abandons his victorious procession. And as the Pratyekabuddha said: One should truly rely on a virtuous and wise person, and greatly praise the perfection of companionship, but if one does not find a faultless companion, one should wander alone like a rhinoceros. As it is said. Dwelling alone, one will be able to accomplish the task of Samadhi as one has heard, diligently and truthfully. One should not focus one's mind on the power of the signs of Samadhi, because the mind that relies on it will not become excellent. Therefore, one must definitely focus one's mind on the excellent Dharma. This Dharma of leisure and opportunity passes away even faster than the essence of the steps of a divine being. Therefore, one should repeatedly practice the conduct that is appropriate for abandoning afflictions, and that which becomes the basis for great power and the exhaustion of outflows, or by making the Samadhi of the path the main thing, and also remembering the causes of other Samadhis that arise from it, and pacifying the faults that have not arisen. If one engages in desire, one will also engage in afflictions such as hatred and delusion; if one engages in hatred, one will also suppress desire and delusion, and if one engages in delusion, desire and hatred will also arise. Therefore, the Blessed One said: Monks, if a desire for sensual pleasures arises, then properly attend to the sign of ugliness.

Such words are definitely spoken. A bhikkhuni should repeatedly focus on the five places and the three characteristics with diligence in the higher mind. One should be mindful in everything, so that samadhi will be perfected. As it is said: The cause of mindfulness, the cause of diligence, the cause of constant action, the cause of conformity, and the cause of proper attention will lead to the attainment of such samadhi. One should also be skilled in entering, abiding, and arising from the mind's equilibrium. With respect and conformity, one should truly know what object, or what aspect and sign, can pacify the afflictions of the mind. As it is said: In the sutra of the cook's analogy, skillfully grasping the sign will lead to skill in generating the mind. And again it is said: For the sake of skillfully grasping the sign, abandoning steps also leads to entering samadhi, which is a guiding word; if one grasps it wrongly, one will fall away accordingly, as the elders say. By uttering the sign, one will quickly abide in entering into equilibrium, because one has skillfully grasped the sign, therefore, entering into equilibrium is shown. Mindfulness is also a powerful dharma for yogis, because it is all-pervasive, and by its power, one does not fall away from the past, future, and signs. Therefore, one should always have well-spoken mindfulness. As it is also said in the sutra: This samadhi belongs to those who abide in mindfulness, this dharma does not belong to those who have lost mindfulness. One should deeply contemplate the many faults of distraction from samadhi, and as before, one should strive to see the virtues of samadhi, so that the mind will truly rejoice in samadhi. As in the example of the householder Ka Gon, after obtaining samadhi, he was able to use it freely, without arrogance, and in order to obtain the superior qualities above it, he should exert his mind greatly.
