甚为难得。 如是世尊所说。 人身难得之语，此为第三。 饮食卧具上妙衣， 花鬘住所及诸饰品， 名声功德极超胜， 彼等皆言布施生。 语美貌端且富饶， 尤其殊胜身广阔， 语妙威严悦意者， 名声无病寿亦洁， 悦意可爱彼与彼， 布施诸般之果实。 骏马绸缎与象等， 拂尘伞盖及花簇， 楼阁美妙并乐器， 具足妙音诸乐器， 花鬘严饰诸女子， 饮食珍宝花鬘宅， 藏红花城邦天人居， 圆满正觉及佛陀， 布施如意之树木， 此等皆言是其果。 青莲花瓣柔且软， 修长无垢净无染， 何女目成且妩媚， 纤腰款摆动摇曳。 具足红艳妙衣裳， 乳峰丰满而摇曳， 眉目姣好具足者， 彼等开启悭吝门， 布施舍放转兴盛。 颈以铃铛作严饰之马， 乘坐缰绳调御之良驹， 人王乘于骄傲之象， 撑伞饰物圆满眷属众， 行者合掌作礼敬， 恒常供养勤祈请， 如是种种之布施， 能仁宣说是其果。 金镯金刚作严饰， 臂钏顶髻珍宝饰， 地主以珠鬘作庄严， 恒常安住狮子座， 臣民眷属妃嫔伺， 嬉戏玩乐诸伎女， 如狮子般之威严， 能仁宣说是布施果。 楼阁黄金珍宝饰， 撑伞竖幡作严饰， 琵琶陶笛乐器响， 珍宝光芒而闪耀， 帝释天等享安乐， 天女众眷属围绕者， 往昔如是作布施， 能仁宣说是其果。 布施悦意诸有情， 智者之众恒时依， 四方遍布无垢鬘， 美名远扬彼与此， 于此

Extremely difficult to obtain. Thus spoke the Bhagavan. The talk of the rarity of human birth, this is the third. Food, drink, bedding, excellent clothing, Garlands, dwellings, and all ornaments, Fame, qualities, exceedingly superior, All these are said to arise from giving. Sweet speech, beauty, and possessing enjoyment, Especially excellent, vast form, Sweet words, majestic, pleasing, Fame, health, and pure life, Pleasing, lovely, that and that, Are the fruits of all kinds of giving. Horses, silks, and elephants, Fly-whisks, umbrellas, and flower clusters, Beautiful mansions with music, Possessing melodious music, Women adorned with flower garlands, Food, precious garlands, dwellings, Saffron cities, abodes of gods, Complete enlightenment and Buddhas, Giving is like a wish-fulfilling tree, These are said to be its fruits. Soft petals of blue lotuses, Long, spotless, and pure, Any woman with captivating eyes, And a waist that sways and moves. A horse adorned with bells on its neck, A mount guided by reins, A king riding on a proud elephant, With an umbrella raised, adorned, and surrounded by attendants, Beings with palms joined in reverence, Constantly making offerings and prayers, Such generosity as this, The Sage declared to be its fruit. Golden bracelets adorned with vajras, Armlets, crowns, and precious jewels, A lord of the earth adorned with pearl necklaces, Constantly dwelling on a lion throne, Attended by ministers and a retinue of consorts, Playing and enjoying games, Such majesty like a lion, The Sage declared to be the fruit of giving. Mansions adorned with gold and jewels, Adorned with raised umbrellas and banners, Lutes, drums, and musical instruments resounding, Shining with the light of jewels, Enjoying happiness like Indra and others, Surrounded by a retinue of goddesses, Such giving as this in the past, The Sage declared to be its fruit. 乃无垢近处住，离身之后于诸天，无垢种种饮料凉，种种鲜花满头盛，如意之树皆生长，旃檀等物所充满，最胜园林诸处所，长久受用聚落众，天女具足胜妙色，获得殊胜之侍奉。布施名为大宝藏，盗等不携能随行，布施能洗心悭吝，贪著尘垢之垢染，能除轮回道中乏，布施乃是安乐乘，布施乃是众乐源，真正善友安乐门。腰佩黄金之腰带，语柔美目如莲护，眼长及耳闻语近，鲜花鬘缒束发美，何者自眷诸肢体，以及二足行者美，净饭之食极丰盛，彼等皆是布施果，大自在者如是说。蔗糖之块与莲花，浸染香气甚芬芳，盛满吉祥黄金器，班度嘎色似铜色，饮料少妻互敬饮，与妻一同再三饮，欢喜之意所说语，其因乃是布施吉祥。寂静亦是布施德，我等希求诸美者，于此布施当勤奋，三有难忍

Resides in the immaculate vicinity. After separating from the body, in the heavens. Cool, immaculate, various drinks. Various flowers bloom on the head. Wish-fulfilling trees grow. Filled with sandalwood and the like. In the most excellent gardens. For a long time, enjoying the community. Goddesses possessing excellent forms. Attaining the highest service. Giving is called a great treasure. Thieves and others cannot carry it away, it follows. Giving washes away the miserliness of the mind. The stain of attachment's dust. Relieves fatigue on the path of samsara. Giving is a vehicle of happiness. Giving is the source of many joys. True, excellent friend, the door to happiness. Wearing a golden belt around the waist. Gentle speech, beautiful eyes like lotuses protect. Long eyes reach the ears, hearing is near. Beautiful hair tied with flower garlands. Whoever has limbs and retinue. And the beauty of two-legged beings. Abundant food of the Shakyas. Those are the fruits of giving, it is said. The Great Lord spoke thus. Pieces of sugarcane and lotuses. Imbued with fragrance, very fragrant. Filled in auspicious golden vessels. Bandhuka-colored, like copper. Drinks, young wives pledge vows. Drinking again and again with their wives. The speech spoken with joyful intention. The cause is the auspiciousness of giving. Peace is also a virtue of giving. We who desire beauty. Strive in this giving. The unbearable three realms.

应当知晓。极其长寿且种族高贵，身姿美丽且无疾病的怖畏，财富众多且仆从眷属圆满，是福德成熟的巨大果报。任何转轮圣王，都具有千名勇猛的儿子，能统治直至大海边际的土地。这些是珍贵福德广大无边的果实。安住于各种莲花宝座之上，天神和天王恒常顶礼膜拜，以威严慑服所有眷属，能照亮梵天世界。这些也都是源于福德。无论天、龙、非天成就，还是乐神、夜叉、人非人，这些最为殊胜的众神，都恒常供养天王。这是珍贵福德广大无边的果实。形貌、精进和技艺等等，都无法抗拒地被舍弃，人们被业力的风所驱使，前往另一个世界时，唯有福德最为殊胜，能够相随并带来安乐。福德无法被他人夺走，因此福德是宝藏中的至尊。凭借它的力量，即使是须弥山，也被末劫之风吹得四分五裂，福德也无法摧毁。末劫之水，能轻易摧毁钢铁，但四海之水，却无法融化福德。光芒炽热明亮的七日同时出现，能够焚烧大地，唯有福德无法焚烧。这是福德之谈的第五部分。建造佛像，首先能够消除忧愁，远离一切争端，见之欢喜，具足善缘，拥有宝藏和荣耀，身强体健，声名远扬，威严显赫，容貌俊美，精通一切经论，能够调伏一切根门之马，具有千倍的智慧。对于世尊的佛像和佛塔，有多少微尘，那么在地面上下，必定会转生为多少国王。能够成就色界和无色界的禅定，一切众生都能无余地享受安乐，最终摆脱生老之苦，获得菩提之果位。建造善逝的佛像，

Know this. Extremely long life and noble lineage, beautiful body and no fear of disease, abundant wealth and complete retinue of servants, are the great results of the maturation of merit. Any Chakravartin king has a thousand brave sons and can rule the land up to the edge of the ocean. These are the vast and boundless fruits of precious merit. Abiding on various lotus thrones, gods and divine kings constantly prostrate and worship, subduing all retinues with majesty, illuminating the Brahma world. These too are from merit. Whether gods, nagas, asuras are accomplished, or gandharvas, yakshas, or non-humans, these most excellent assemblies constantly offer to the divine king. This is the vast and boundless fruit of precious merit. Form, diligence, and skills, etc., are irresistibly abandoned, and when people are driven by the wind of karma to go to another world, only merit is the most supreme, which can follow and bring happiness. Merit cannot be taken away by others, therefore merit is the supreme of treasures. By its power, even Mount Sumeru is blown to pieces by the winds of the final kalpa, but merit cannot be destroyed. The water of the final kalpa can easily destroy iron, but the water of the four oceans cannot melt merit.
