The body image of the Tathagata, cast or painted, the Dharma written or made into scriptures, if taken with the intention of offering to the Sangha, there is no sin, this is its meaning. If a practitioner, desiring profit, entrusts his wealth to others for sale, or takes the wealth of others to trade, he commits an offense. For the sake of the Three Jewels, or if not doing so, even medicine will be lacking and livelihood will be cut off, if one wishes to engage in commercial profit with the thought of doing good deeds, one should not do it oneself, but should entrust it to other lay people. If there is no need for such entrustment, then even when aware, one should not do it forcefully or by force. Is it permissible or not, is it pleasing or not? Ask three times in this way, and if the answer is that there is no displeasure and it is permissible, then trade may be done. If the other party does not believe, but still forces trade and gains profit by calculating the price, then he will fail. Thus, up to this point, the ten precepts of the practitioner have been briefly explained. Desire is an obstacle, spoken by the Perfectly Awakened One, that is, the Blessed One said that those who have gone forth and rely on the five qualities of desire are obstacles to quiescence and liberation. The disciples of Near Joy, the two practitioners Thorn and Offering, said that desire is an obstacle, but what the Blessed One said is not so, even if one relies on desire, it is not an obstacle, I know its meaning. Then he reported to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One taught: To those who speak like this, first advise them with gentle words, and if they do not listen, then advise the monks with entreaties and the four karmas, do not lie. If they still do not listen after being advised in this way, if they still say so, then they should be deprived of the resources and enjoyments belonging to the Sangha, and expelled from the monastery. If the practitioner who has been expelled in this way does not have permission to sleep in the same room with two practitioners, then those who practice the same as the Brahmacharis, whose conduct is the same, whose resources are the same, and whose views are the same, will no longer exist, and then he will become like a corpse. Shaking and horse dung, etc.

Thinking of death, one should not do it. As for this, those who have renounced the world, being of a nature that is tame and peaceful, should not engage in things like jumping and leaping with the body, which are base practices, and should not make loud horse-like noises with the mouth. Why? Because swaying is an imprudent practice, and making horse-like noises and rough sounds is caused by turbulent winds and pre-existing evil spirits. Therefore, thinking of death, one should not do it. When yawning, one should diligently cover the mouth with the hand, etc. Why? Because showing the teeth is very unsightly, like a wild animal opening its mouth. When an elder sneezes, one should bow. When a younger person sneezes, one should say, "May you be free from illness." When a householder sneezes, one should say, "May you recover for a long time." As for this, an elder is one who is elder in discipline and wisdom, or a Khenpo or Acharya. A younger person is one who is lower than them in these qualities. "May you recover for a long time" is said because householders like long life. In the presence of the lamas, one should not spit or expectorate, nor should one chew toothpicks. Likewise, one should not sit on a cushion, nor should one bend over in front of them. One should not wear only one garment, nor should one stretch out one's legs. As for this, Khenpos and Acharyas, and those who are superior in the qualities of wisdom and discipline, are lamas. In their presence, one should not discard those things that have been mentioned. Why? Because it is a base and despicable practice, and a sign of disrespect and arrogance, so it should be abandoned. Even when chewing a toothpick, one should cover the mouth with one's sleeve. How should one treat the lamas? To elders, those who hold vows should treat them with respect and honorifics. To the elders mentioned above, one should be respectful and peaceful in body, and in speech, one should speak gently and frankly, and use honorifics. The points of the minor precepts have been explained. After washing the hands cleanly, the water pot, etc., should be free of dust. As for this, after eating, after washing the mouth and hands well, one should filter and take the water to be used inside. The water vessel, water pot, etc., should be examined to be free of dust, dirt, and insects, and then the water should be filtered and taken. The method of filtering water is:
