The term "discipline" means: Because of the certainty of arising, discipline is the discipline of certain arising. The word "arising" is also seen in many meanings, such as: Arising in a village by walking on foot, and arising in a city, and so on. It is also seen in the sense of riding, such as: For example, arising by an elephant, and arising by a horse, and so on. It is also called arising for the path, because it arises from there. It is also called arising for what should be obtained, because it is said that "arising is what should be obtained." Among these, here the word "arising" is only taken to mean what should be obtained, because the word "certain" has been said. Certain arising is certain arising, which is a synonym for obtaining non-retrogression and obtaining nirvana without remainder. Why is the unpolluted path not taken? Because it is not the main thing. The path is not the main thing, because it is for the sake of nirvana without remainder. The two, main and non-main, are because it is said that one believes in the result for the main thing. Nirvana is the ultimate main thing, because it is good and permanent. Therefore, whatever is the state of correctly obtaining nirvana without remainder, that can be said to be the word "certain arising," like this, that alone is non-retrogressive, because it is not other things that are completely conceived by non-Buddhists. The so-called "discipline" refers to the discipline with its retinue of abandoning the seven, which is where this Vinaya Sutra is collected from, which is the explanation of all the Vinaya Pitaka. Here, the so-called "Vinaya" should also be seen as various distinctions and so on, because it clearly shows what should be done and what should not be done, thereby subduing the disciples and subsequently teaching them, so it is "Vinaya." The word "to be done" means the meaning of to be done. For example, the word "atha" also appears in auspiciousness and so on, but the word "to be done" specifically determines that this is the meaning of to be done, not other meanings, this is a synonym.

Thus, the sound of the word "Atha" is also seen as having the meaning of auspiciousness. For example, like this, such as "For auspiciousness, the chapters that are in accordance with long-term survival should be explained in detail," and so on. In some places, it is also used as a particle of speech, such as "Then, when the Bhagavan completely passed into Nirvana, at that very time." In some places, it means "immediately after," such as "He immediately cut off all doubts," and so on. In some places, it means "should be mastered," such as "Should be mastered according to the teachings of sound," and so on. Here, too, the sound of the word "Atha" is used by the teacher only in the sense of "should be mastered," because it is explained in detail in this way from his own explanation. The meaning of "should be mastered" is that it should be mastered. Each sutra is called "the discipline of definite emergence," which is synonymous with "dwelling closely." In this way, the meaning of the words here arises: after reciting the sutra "When all the Sangha gathers," and so on, it is immediately combined with this "discipline of definite emergence," because this discipline can attain Nirvana without remainder. Similarly, for the sake of ordination and complete upasampada, therefore, after reciting "For some monks, dwelling in the position of Khenpo," this "discipline of definite emergence" should also be recited. What is inappropriate and the favorable conditions that are appropriate and contradictory are all summarized as inappropriate. What is in accordance with the latter and contradictory to the former is appropriate. Reciting up to those in between is combined with this "discipline of definite emergence." It is shown in this way that until the words of the sutra are completely finished, it should be known that this "discipline of definite emergence" has been mastered. In this way, the general meaning of this sutra is this: the sound of this "discipline of definite emergence" is close to dwelling for each sutra, because it shows the necessity, what is said, the connection, and the necessity of necessity of all the Vinaya sutras. The sound of "mastering" is
