The young should be ground and placed in a container, grasped and crushed, this is called the act of crushing. What is the act of spitting? Not in front of the teacher, not near the stupa, not in front of the Khenpo and Acharya, not in front of the Lama, not in a place like the Lama's residence, not in a place where many people gather in the village. Do not spit indiscriminately. If you must spit, go to a secluded place to spit. Do not cause discomfort to others because of this, this is called the act of spitting. What is the act of shaving? If a monk wants to shave, do not shave with a sharp instrument, do not shave with grass leaves, shave with leaves, cloth, or something soft, this is called the act of shaving. What is the act of defecation? A monk should not defecate anywhere, not by the wall, not by the tree, know clearly, defecate in one place. If you must defecate anywhere, take a squatting position, or dig a fixed pit. This is called the act of defecation. What is the act of urination? When a monk wants to urinate, he should knock on the stick first so that those who arrived earlier know. Those who arrived earlier should also empty their bladder first. Enter after knowing clearly. Sit down after arranging the Dharma robes properly. In the place of urination, carefully check the two footrests and sit in the middle. If urine does not come out, do not squeeze forcefully. Do not stop the flow of urine, this is called the act of urination. What is the act of the urinal? If a monk wants to urinate, he should urinate slowly, carefully, and clearly. Do not let clothes stick to the urinal, this is called the act of the urinal. What is the act of the resident of the urinal? The resident monk of the urinal should not wake up the newcomer, if he is young, do not let him return after entering the urinal, this is called the act of the resident of the urinal.
