The offering ritual without reliance, if one is not impoverished in understanding, then it is not an offering, because it is offered with a mind of reliance, so some are like that. Whether such a form exists or not is fine, if someone says I must do this, then there is no such ritual of giving. Whether such a ritual of giving exists or not is fine, if someone says I don't need this for now, like this, offering without detailed examination, the Vinaya holders say this. Impure conduct, purity refers to Nirvana, and what contradicts it is sexual activity, so the meaning of prohibition is reasonable. If it is also said that non-existence and contradiction, evil and fundamental meaning, and other similar places, are called six kinds of purity. If it is said like that, then here one should observe contradiction, like non-dharma and non-meaning, and non-fruit, etc. However, if that is the case, would all sins with inherent nature become impure conduct? To exclude this, sexual activity is mentioned. Even if a monk loses a part, because he has not separated from the substance of a monk, therefore it is unreasonable to abandon everything just because a part of the precepts is broken. Also, just as one only accepts a part, not wanting to accept everything, similarly, if one of the four is confused, one should not be like abandoning everything. It is also said that the Kashmiris consider arising to be dualistic, like borrowed property. Also, in the same way, it is the monk who has taken full ordination with the request and the four karmas who will commit a root downfall, not other nominal monks, etc. Although it has been explained, it is necessary to explain it again for the sake of definite meaning. Not a monk, not a renunciate, not a son of the Shakya, it should be understood that this is a prohibition of inferiority, just like calling a bad son childless. Therefore, for the three, non-monk, etc., what is shown is the prohibition of inferiority. A monk without faults, therefore his loss is the loss itself. Without faults, and without being complete, and without being able to recover, for this unattached one there is no share.

Therefore. It is said because no merit can be obtained. Like firewood burned out and the sea dried up, seeds without ears rotting, the fire wheel itself, and beings dying, because only the appearance remains, others call it a monk. Regarding the topic of killing, some people use the example of hiding a novice by the son of a wild deer. This is not true, because it was used to send back the wild deer, and it was hidden and raised in front of the ordained, and because it is an ordained person with the appearance of a monk, and because it is a monk who holds this Dharma, therefore no training ground is established based on this. However, many monks kill each other. Many monks, these sinners and monks who hold this Dharma, etc., are said to be many monks everywhere. Here, too, it should be separately established that with the intention of killing sentient beings in the human realm, those who generate thoughts about them commit the sin of defeat. Therefore, concealing any other limb is a gross sin. Thus, if only it is said, "With the intention of killing sentient beings in the human realm," then if one conceals with non-human thoughts those who exist in the form of humans, animals, etc., will the monk commit the fault of defeat? This is also unreasonable, because there is no obvious intention to kill. Thus, if one thinks, "Devadatta should be killed" but does not kill, then the uninterrupted sin will not occur, and thus, thought is also a limb of action. The statement "intention is that" will be harmed, because there is no cause for difference. Thus, it was also asked: Venerable, if a monk kills a person thinking of him as a person, what will happen? Answer: He commits the sin of defeat. If he kills a person thinking of him as a non-human, what will happen? Answer: He commits a gross sin, etc., thus the four sentences are proclaimed. The author of the sutra also said: One who achieves without intentional thought is not the author. Thus, killing is intentional and without error, it is killing others. The limb of lying is the reversal of thought and human Dharma.
