It is an act of deceitful conduct. The Shravakas of the Perfectly Complete Buddha with the Crown Protuberance mostly aspire to be reborn in the heavens and are particularly inclined towards pure conduct. To counteract this particular inclination, the Blessed One extensively spoke the words, "The one with eyes of individual liberation, fears like myself." Among them, wisdom is like the position of the eyes. Because one possesses wisdom, one is called the one with eyes. The word 'as it is' is related to both. What is similar to fear is the heavenly realm, where practicing will lead to falling into the lower realms. 'One who has gone' means that Nirvana is similar to one who has gone. 'Skilled' means skilled in means. 'Abandoning sins' means turning back from desiring the heavens. If an evildoer hopes to be reborn in the heavens because of his evil deeds, then he has not abandoned sins. The Perfectly Complete Buddha protects all, and his Shravakas are only satisfied with discipline. They slander others who have already begun to confess their sins and harm them in speech and thought. Because they are only satisfied with discipline, they will not attain the fruits of a renunciate. The Blessed One spoke this individual liberation to the Shravakas to counteract this fault. Among them, to counteract slander, he said, "Do not slander." To counteract harming with intention, he said, "Do not harm." To counteract not attaining the fruits of a renunciate, he extensively spoke of individual liberation. Relying on discipline with the aim of Nirvana, abandoning the two extremes of seeking merit with desire and exhausting oneself, enter the place of peace. By relying on quiescence, one can attain liberation. The Perfectly Complete Buddha, in order to eliminate the Shravakas with wrong faith, who mostly crave gain and respect, to counteract this craving, the Blessed One spoke to the Shravakas about individual liberation, such as the bee, etc. Color is the discipline of a renunciate, which makes it beautiful. Scent is...

Contentment is achieved through subtle diligence in meditative absorption. Among the Śrāvakas of the perfectly complete Buddha Golden Stillness, most will enter into the Dharma that is not of a great person. They praise themselves and also revile others. They are engaged in the enjoyment of listening, and because they speak discordantly to others about certain abundant topics, therefore, the Blessed One, as an antidote to this, proclaimed, "It is not the discord of others." Starting from the enjoyment of moral conduct, because they contemplate the downfalls of combining what others have done and not done, therefore, it is said, "It is not what others have done and not done." The previous antidote also proclaimed, "My actions should be constant," and so forth. "Regarding caste and non-caste," this is a synonym for well-done and ill-done. Among the Śrāvakas of the perfectly complete Buddha Light Protector, most become those who taste the flavor of meditative absorption. As an antidote to that fault, the Blessed One proclaimed, "Individual liberation, be mindful of higher mind." This means, do not be unmindful of higher mind. It is to dispel from tasting the flavor of meditative absorption. "Learn the bases of the Buddhas of the Buddha," this means entering from the realization of the truths. The truths are the bases of the Buddhas, they will become the birthplace of the Buddhas. "Protection is without sorrow, near peace is always with mindfulness," this means showing the benefit of seeing the truth. Even if someone has attained meditative absorption, until that time, sorrows will become nonexistent, because the meditative absorption has not declined, afflictions will become pacified, and one will also have mindfulness, but in the next life, one will again become sorrowful, and will not become peaceful again, and also because it is the Dharma of forgetting, one will not have mindfulness either. It is shown through "Giving shows the order of abandoning the remainder of the favorable bonds that correspond to the upper part of the person who will realize," and so forth. Among these, with three verses, the favorable bonds of acting in sensual pleasures are abandoned, such as poverty, defilement, and stinginess, and so on.

Giving arises from detachment (from desire). When training in the precepts pleasing to the noble ones, the power of virtue from meditative stabilization makes actions be named as sinful. The afflictive actions that are practiced in desire, and all afflictions, are abandoned. Afflictions are exhausted and nirvana is attained, abandoning all bonds of the three realms. The Shravakas of the perfectly complete Buddha, Shakyamuni, mostly have many afflictions. They also commit sins, and they also perfectly perform virtuous deeds, and they are satisfied even with a small amount of virtue. Therefore, for the purpose of preventing them, for the purpose of teaching the means of abandoning them, and for the purpose of teaching the means of not forgetting mindfulness of the bonds to them, that Bhagavan spoke the Pratimoksha in three verses when the Sangha of monks had not yet appeared like bubbles. Among them, the three roots of the first verse are to prevent the three inversions that are inverted in what order, that is, "One should tame one's own mind." The second is to explain the means of abandoning it, that is, the body and so on, which are the paths of action and so on. This individual liberation is also good, what to say of a non-unique discipline, what to say of all disciplines? Whoever guards everything, he will be liberated from all suffering. Therefore, one should guard whatever one can, in whatever way one can. The third is to show the means of not forgetting mindfulness, therefore, because of these three, mindfulness is often forgotten, wanting to answer others who speak of faults and so on, therefore it is said, "One should guard speech." At the time of discriminating on the object of experience, "One should guard well with the mind," that is what was said. Also, at the time of wandering in a non-practice area and so on, at the time of wandering and practicing in the five non-practice areas, taking what should not be taken, eating what should not be eaten, and also for the sake of harming others with the body, not doing the non-virtue of the body, that is what was said. Therefore, speech should also be guarded, the mind should also be guarded extremely, not acting with the body, mindfulness should be established. If these three paths of action are well trained, that is, "One should tame one's own mind."
