If it is said that the complete knowledge of abandoning what is to be abandoned through the practice of the path of cultivation is different, but it is not so for what is to be abandoned through the path of seeing, it is because the antidotes to what is to be abandoned through cultivation are different. Thus, complete knowledge is those nine. Among these, the first six are the fruits of forbearance, which are the nature of abandoning what is to be abandoned through the path of seeing. The rest are through wisdom, the complete knowledge of abandoning, etc., which is similar to the final part, because they are the fruits of the path of cultivation. If asked: How is complete knowledge the fruit of forbearance? Because forbearance is possessed of the retinue of wisdom, just as the retinue of a king is called the king, and because wisdom and fruit are one. All fruits of unobstructed liberation are like this. The fruits of meditation are five or eight. According to the Vaibhashika school, the actual fruit of meditation is five complete knowledges, which are the nature of abandoning the afflictions that operate in the form realm and the formless realm. Because abandoning the afflictions that operate in the desire realm is the fruit of unobstructed liberation. According to Venerable Dbyangs sGrog, there are eight, because abandoning what is to be abandoned through the path of seeing that operates in the desire realm through detachment from desire is also considered the fruit of the path of seeing because of obtaining the attainment of detachment and obtaining the inexhaustible. The complete knowledge of abandoning that is similar to the final part is only the fruit of unobstructed liberation. Special meditation should also be regarded as meditation. For the formless realms, there is only one approximation, that is, the fruit of the approximation of the sphere of infinite space is only one, which is the complete knowledge of the exhaustion of desire for form. The fruits of the three actual formless realms are also like this. The fruits of the three actual formless realms are also only one, which is the complete knowledge of the complete cessation of all bonds. All these nine complete knowledges are the fruits of the noble path. Two, the fruits of the worldly path are two, namely, the complete knowledge of what is similar to the final part and the exhaustion of desire for form. Afterwards, it is the fruit of subsequent knowledge.

The son also has two kinds of complete knowledge, namely, incomplete. The knowledge of Dharma is threefold. It is only incomplete. Because it is the antidote to be abandoned by the cultivation of the three realms. Its concordant qualities are six and five. The fruit concordant with the knowledge of Dharma is six complete knowledges, namely, whatever are the fruits of Dharma-kshanti and Dharma-jnana. The fruit concordant with subsequent knowledge is five, namely, whatever are the fruits of subsequent kshanti and jnana. By mentioning concordant qualities, it means holding kshanti and jnana. Why are complete knowledges not established separately for each abandonment? Like this, for the time being, the result of forbearance is separation, namely, because the attainment of separation is without outflows, and the peak of existence has been destroyed, and the two causes have been completely destroyed, it is established as complete knowledge. Whoever has these three causes, is that called the complete knowledge of abandonment? For the time being, for ordinary beings, there is no attainment of separation without outflows, and there is no destruction of the peak of existence, so this abandonment does not obtain the name of complete knowledge. For noble ones also, whatever is the abandonment of the result of forbearance, namely, as long as they abide in the subsequent knowledge of suffering, for that long there is the attainment of separation without outflows, but it is not the equalization of the peak of existence. For the subsequent knowledge of suffering, although there are two, it is not the complete destruction of the two causes, because the cause, the pervasiveness to be abandoned by seeing the origin, has not been abandoned. For other Dharma and subsequent knowledge, there are all three, therefore, in those particular states, they obtain the name of complete knowledge of that abandonment. The abandonment of the result of knowledge is those three causes, and the fourth, because of transcending the realm, it obtains the name of complete knowledge, because of being free from desire from all realms. When does one transcend the realm? Secondly, the fifth cause of separation from all bonds is spoken of, namely, what kind of abandonment, if one is separated from other afflictions aimed at that? Namely, it is not said to be other than the destruction of both causes and the transcendence of the realm.
