In order to understand the meaning one wishes to express, one focuses on the words and expresses them. Therefore, it arises solely from the mind that focuses on the words. The shape of the lips, etc., does not arise from the mind that focuses on the shape, this is what is being shown. If it also arises from the mind of previous aspirations, that is also not permissible, meaning that my lips are as red as the bimba fruit, etc., may they become like that, the previous aspirations that were made, also arise from that mind, if they also become like that, it is not permissible, this is its meaning. Because it also arises from other minds that are the cause of maturation, meaning that, other than that, the virtuous mind that previously became the cause of maturation, having obtained the distinction of becoming a cause, also arises from that, this is its meaning. This also shows that it is the fruit of definitively holding onto the mind that focuses on it alone. Why is it called manifestation? This is a question of sound. Through the changes that move outwards, meaning that, it arises through moving outwards from the mind. Changes, meaning that, through the movements of the hands, etc., this is its meaning. Thinking, meaning that, it is contemplation. The fish that lives in the sea, even if it hides very well, etc., this is shown through examples. The meaning of the remaining verses is easy to understand. In this way, the characteristics of the manifestation of the body are widely established, and the teacher, in order to refute that characteristic, starts by saying "Then what is shape?" etc., meaning that, if a shape is established, then one can understand the manifestation of the body of that nature, otherwise one cannot. Like this, those who say "long etc." are the particularists. The teacher said "What is long etc.?", meaning that, if this is not an unestablished nature, then how can one give an example? Those who say "From where is it long?" etc. are the particularists, long etc. are established by direct perception, then what doubt is there about this?
