Therefore, it is taught that the Dharma Abhidharma is the nature of six aspects. To define the term, the Dharma that tends towards Nirvana, and the Dharma that tends towards its own and common characteristics, are called Dharma Abhidharma. What is meant by treatise here? It is combined with the Saṃskāras that do not possess the form of letters and the general characteristics of sound. In terms of the meaning of the word, the treatise is for subduing the enemy of afflictions, and for protecting from evil destinies and the destruction of existence. Because of this, it will be called the manifestation of excellence and the determination of goodness. By protecting from evil destinies, excellence will be manifested. By subduing the enemy of afflictions and protecting from existence, determination of goodness will be manifested. As Āryadeva said: Subduing all the enemies of afflictions, Protecting from evil destinies and existence, The merit of subduing and protecting, Therefore it is also a treatise, These two are not found in other schools. It's like saying that. The five Skandhas are the Skandha of Form, the Skandha of Feeling, the Skandha of Perception, the Skandha of Formation, and the Skandha of Consciousness. Why is the order of the Skandhas arranged in this way? The answer is: Because the Skandha of Form is obstructive, it is the place of the five aggregates of consciousness, and it is also the object of the six aggregates of consciousness. The Skandha of Form is the coarsest of all the Skandhas, so it is mentioned first, while the Skandhas of Feeling and so on are not. The Skandha of Feeling is a coarse aggregate, so it is the coarsest in the third position, just as it is said in the world, "I feel pain," "I feel half pain." The Skandha of Perception is the grasping of characteristics, and because it is easy to understand, it is the coarsest in the second position, just like entering is very easy to understand. The nature of the Skandha of Formation is the manifestation of action, so in order to clearly understand the universal arising of desire and so on, it is coarser than the Skandha of Consciousness. The Skandha of Consciousness is shown last because it is very subtle. Or, the order of the Skandhas is shown by containers and so on, the Skandha of Form is like a container, the Skandha of Feeling

The aggregate of form is like food, feeling is beneficial and harmful to the body of sentient beings, so it is like food, which needs to be tasted. The aggregate of perception is like estimation, regarding happiness, etc., as characteristics for enemies, friends, and ordinary people, so it is similar. The aggregate of formations is like a cook, by which the results of what is desired and undesired are manifestly accomplished. The aggregate of consciousness is like eating, because of clinging to them as self. Suffering and happiness are consciousness, because it is consciousness, it is called consciousness. Alternatively, relying on all-pervasive afflictions, they are established in order. Like this, in the beginningless cycle of existence, men and women rejoice in each other, delighting in colors and shapes, which is the so-called term. Therefore, from the aggregate of form, all-pervasive afflictions arise first, so the aggregate of form is mentioned first. Through it, there is attachment to feeling, and attachment to it is for tasting the flavor of feeling, which is the so-called term, because of delight. Attachment to it is delighting in the feeling of happiness, and because of delighting in it, the aggregate of feeling is mentioned after it. Through feeling, inverted perception arises. If asked how it is inverted, this is the so-called term, because of regarding happiness, etc., as characteristics, therefore after it is the aggregate of perception. Combining that inversion with afflictions, dwelling in the aggregate of formations, so after it, the aggregate of formations is shown. The realm of afflictions, for other realms, etc., consciousness becomes all-pervasively afflicted, so it is shown later. The order has been explained. Why are there only five aggregates, neither more nor less? This needs to be explained. It is said: Like this, these five aggregates themselves express what I possess and what is mine. Among them, what I possess is expressed by four aggregates, namely form, feeling, perception, and formations. If asked how they express it, the aggregate of form expresses the nature of the body, including complete holding. The aggregate of feeling expresses
