said, because the nature of utter purity is comprehended. As it is said: At that time, only that is seen, the mind then abides in the name. By abiding in the name, the object is completely abandoned in consciousness. By the cause of meditation, at that time, one touches the realm without an object. Being completely liberated from all obscurations, at that time, mastery is attained. As it is said, that very consciousness-only, this word shows the realization. If these are also only consciousness, then what arises from the mind that the eye, ear, nose, tongue, and body grasp form, sound, smell, taste, and touch? Therefore, it is said: As long as consciousness does not abide in the nature of consciousness-only, the latent tendencies of the two grasping (grasping and the grasped) will not revert. Or again, what? The karmic imprints of the two grasping, with the imprints, are the former. After the exhaustion of consciousness, the other, that which produces the maturation, is it. As it is said, how is that reproach and non-abandonment? Therefore, as long as consciousness does not abide in the nature of consciousness-only, it is extensively said. The two grasping are the grasping of the grasped and the grasping of the grasper, and consciousness does not abide until the investigation of the object and the grasper. The two grasping are the grasping of the grasped and the grasping of the grasper, and their latent tendencies are for the purpose of causing the future two grasping to arise, so seeds are sown in the all-ground consciousness of them. As long as the mind of the yogi does not abide in the consciousness-only of the nature of non-duality, the latent tendencies of the two grasping will not revert, which is synonymous with non-abandonment. Here it is shown that if the object of the external realm is not abandoned, then the object of the internal realm is also not abandoned. Therefore, he thinks like this: I grasp form, etc., with the eye, etc. Now, it is to be said that by focusing on mind-only, which is devoid of objects, does it abide in the nature of mind? It is said, no. These are only consciousness. Thinking and focusing on this, whatever is placed in front, that is only "only."
