Why is that? Because those sentient beings have no righteous conduct, no Dharma conduct, no merit conduct, no virtuous conduct, no excellent conduct. Monks, that is not a great ocean, not a great river, not a great gathering, not a great water. Like a tangled weave, like a boat fight, like a thicket of reeds and rushes, so they come and go, from here to the other world, from the other world to here, wandering around, endlessly in samsara. With suffering, unbearable, rough, hot, unpleasant, life-taking ones, etc. Do you have feelings, suffering, unbearable, rough, hot, unpleasant, life-taking ones arising, separated from the body and not arising? Is it manifest that they are separated from the body and not arising? There are three kinds of suffering, namely the suffering of suffering, the suffering of formations, and the suffering of change. As it is said: Formations are of the nature of suffering, having known the nature of change, the fully enlightened one speaks of feeling as the nature of suffering. As it is said. Killing, cruel, hands stained with blood, dwelling in killing, extreme killing, having no shame or embarrassment towards sentient beings, not cherishing compassion. Even the lives of tiny insects, ants, etc., are not abandoned to be killed. Monks, for those who are alive, sleep is empty, is accumulation, is fruitless, is meaningless, is without benefit. Children, ignorant, unclear, not intelligent. Having the nature of a child, the nature of ignorance, the nature of wicked wisdom. Like grass-born, any renunciate or Brahmin who, with form being impermanent, unstable, unreliable, having the nature of change, boasts of being great, boasts of being superior, boasts of not being inferior. Like grass-born, renunciate

Because all those practitioners or Brahmins did not see the truth as it is. Even the perception of form as it is is the same. Is there any form that is permanent, stable, real, unchanging in nature, and truly remains unchanged? The noble disciple who is a hearer, knowing this, and possessing four pure faiths, will not live in poverty, stinginess, or lack due to the necessities of life. If meditation is bound by fabrication and grasped like water, bound by dharma nature and is not peaceful, not abundant, has not attained a very diligent path, and has not realized the mind stream becoming one. If, in that way, the mind abiding in equanimity is completely pure, completely cleansed, without afflictions, free from near afflictions, upright, capable, abiding, and unmoving, it can be attained. Meditation and abiding and rising, pleasant feeling and realm of activity, direct realization and giving, not giving and both giving, arising and diminishing and likewise means, calm abiding and superior seeing and equanimity. Craving is also what produces existence, possessing joyful desire, greatly rejoicing in this and that, completely abandoning, forsaking, cutting off, exhausting, being without desire, ceasing, being peaceful, and vanishing. Is a speculator, is an observer, is one who enters into speculation, possesses his own pride, possesses individual beings, and abides on the ground related to observation. Death is not good, passing away is not good, the future life is not good. Who are those who have pulled out thorns, who are those who stir up thorns, who are those who are free from thorns, who are those who have no thorns? If faith arises, one will go. Having gone, one will hear the Dharma. Therefore, having heard the Dharma, one will contemplate. Having contemplated, one will measure, and will approach realization, and that truth will also be directly realized by the body.

It is called penetrating individually with wisdom. And, from that basis, the merit of the giver and the giving continuously increases, virtuous deeds continuously increase, and immeasurable happiness is induced. And, experiencing many kinds of miraculous realms, that is, transforming from one into many, and from many into one, and also knowing how to appear and disappear. Experiencing with visible things, one can also pass directly through walls, also pass directly through mountains, also pass directly through fences, walking unhindered by the body. On the ground, one can also emerge upwards, like a bird entering water. One can also walk on water without sinking, like walking on the great earth. In the sky, one can also walk cross-legged, like a flying bird. These two, the sun and the moon, so great in miraculous power, so great in strength, so great in splendor, can also be grasped and rubbed with the hand, completely rubbed. Even up to the world of Brahma, one can exercise power over beings with the body. And, one generates interest in, generates faith in, completely abides in, and attains liberation in the cessation of aggregates, the peaceful Nirvana. Monks, for the sake of guarding the eye faculty, for the sake of concealing, and for the sake of abiding in taming, one has entered earnestly. It is called monks, these six faculties are very tamed, very concealed, very guarded, very protected, and very cultivated. He, with a mind full of loving-kindness, without enmity, without harm, vast, becoming great, immeasurable, through diligent cultivation, abides having pervaded one direction with joy. Similarly, the second direction, similarly, the third direction, similarly, the fourth direction, above, below, and horizontally, in all aspects, this world filled with all things, with a mind full of loving-kindness, without enmity, without harm, vast, becoming great, immeasurable, through diligent cultivation, abides having pervaded with joy.
