It is because of the characteristic of entering. (Whatever is practiced does not exceed, reaching the other shore.) This sentence is the meaning of the cause. Bodhisattvas, with the actions of the ten grounds such as extreme joy, all the infinite time in countless eons, completely familiar with the cause, will surely arise. (All dharmas are free.) This sentence is the meaning of the result. Because of the infinite destruction of afflictions and cognitive obscurations along with habits, and when the merit becomes supreme and the fruit of perfect enlightenment is obtained, it is possible to freely control all dharmas. (Inconceivable, guiding with the means of taming.) This sentence is the meaning of the activity. With omniscience, all past realms are understood, and countless means of taming are used to tame the magical powers and transformations, taming the minds of sentient beings completely purely. (Immeasurable good qualities.) This sentence is the meaning of the application. Far beyond separation and observation, with all aspects of complete benefit, the inevitable arising of practicing asceticism, and the supreme great compassion, strength, and fearlessness, etc., are offered to the Three Jewels. (Relying on the benefit of oneself and others.) This sentence is the meaning of entering. It is because of the characteristic of abiding in the benefit of oneself and others, and the enjoyment body and the emanation body and the Dharma body Tathagata, etc., how reasonably relying on self-interest as the main thing, and relying on the infinite benefit of others as the main thing. Relying means showing the body, relying on the two means mainly practicing, the enjoyment body is the self-interest of the Buddhas, in the great mandala of the retinue, they must joyfully experience the profound Dharma. Those who mainly benefit others, in all the realms of the ten directions, how each one uses skillful emanations to accomplish all the deeds of sentient beings. The Dharma body is extremely common to all Tathagatas.

The subtle veils are completely transformed into the state of suchness, the essence of the Dharmakaya, primarily for one's own benefit, enabling the unattained to be attained, and so forth, entering into the three divisions of the Tathagata's body. Through this praise, the qualities of the Dharma and Sangha can also be explained. Taking the meaning of its own nature, cause, and effect, it is the Dharma Jewel. Because it is the definite arising of those in training and those beyond training, it is the Sangha Jewel. In order for the disciples to easily understand, the structure of the treatise is also arranged: How many and why are taken up, the nature of that state, the order of meaning and example differentiation, the four such as abbreviation, by abbreviation it is endowed with combination, four determinations and differentiations, truth and Dharma attainment, truthful speech, are the differentiations of determination, it is the general summary of all. Why was this treatise composed? Starting from the aggregates and so on, it was composed in order to become proficient in the places of thought such as how many and why. In this way, this wise one obtains two benefits: the benefit of attention and the benefit of establishing true speech. Among them, the benefit of attention is that it should be known to be in accordance with calm abiding and in accordance with the increase of insight. Being in accordance with calm abiding is that if one is also proficient in these places, then without doubt, one will be able to comfortably and single-pointedly maintain equanimity of mind in the manner of how one focuses. Being in accordance with the increase of insight is that by thoroughly examining knowable objects in many ways, wisdom will go into excellent development. The benefit of establishing true speech is that because one is proficient in these places, one possesses the power to answer all questions, so it can be seen as attaining fearlessness. How many are the aggregates? How many are the elements? How many are the sources? The aggregates are five, namely the aggregate of form, the aggregate of feeling, the aggregate of perception, the aggregate of formation, and the aggregate of consciousness. The elements are eighteen, namely the eye element, the form element,

The realm of eye consciousness, the realm of ear, the realm of sound, the realm of ear consciousness, the realm of nose, the realm of smell, the realm of nose consciousness, the realm of tongue, the realm of taste, the realm of tongue consciousness, the realm of body, the realm of touch, the realm of body consciousness, the realm of mind, the realm of dharma, and the realm of mind consciousness. The sources are twelve: the source of eye, the source of form, the source of ear, the source of sound, the source of nose, the source of smell, the source of tongue, the source of taste, the source of body, the source of touch, the source of mind, the source of mind, and the source of dharma. Why only five aggregates? Because they are the near obtaining of the five kinds of my objects, that is, in order to arise my object including the complete grasping of the body, in order to arise my object that is enjoyed, in order to arise my object that is terminology, in order to arise my object that is dharma and non-dharma, and in order to arise my object that is the basis of those. Because it is the near obtaining of the five kinds of my objects, in this statement, four kinds are my places, therefore they are my objects. The fifth is only my nature, and because it is the basis, it should be known as my object. The complete grasping of the body should be understood as the collection of the form aggregate, both internal and external. Feeling and so on are the very enjoyment and so on, and it should be known that they show their nature. The basis of those is my object, consciousness, and the basis of those, such as the complete grasping of the body, is their nature, and that object is the meaning of the term. Thus, in the world, most people grasp consciousness as self, and the rest as mine. Why are there only eighteen realms? The body and all that is grasped, with the past and present near use
