Feeling is what each individual experiences for themselves. The term "imputation" refers to the words that make one understand. The phrase "in various circumstances" refers to things like happiness and suffering. The phrase "with what eye does one see forms" refers to the past consciousness showing itself as a realm by way of apprehending and engaging. The term "seeing" refers to the present consciousness showing itself as a realm by way of apprehending and engaging. The alaya-consciousness in which the seeds of that eye are accumulated is also a realm, from which the eye is later formed. The maturation is also a realm, from which it has already been formed. Those two kinds of seeds are both the cause of the eye, therefore it is called the eye-realm. The eye-realm has power over form, because by the power of the sense faculty, the external object is formed. It has its own distinct basis and object. That should be observed like a realm, how to coordinate and combine? The phrase "with what eye does one see forms," and "what is the alaya-consciousness in which the seeds of that eye are accumulated, from which the eye is later formed," should be combined in this way. The phrase "the four great elements as the cause," if asked: what is the form created by the cause like? The four great elements as the cause are the cause of generating, supporting, maintaining, manifesting, and increasing. For the form caused by the elements, in terms of the five kinds of causes, it is the cause of generating and so on. The causality of the elements is that without these, it will not arise. The causality of abiding is that if the elements are removed, the form caused by the cause, etc., has no power to harm the object. The causality of following transformation is that if the elements transform, the form caused by the cause that abides in it will also transform. The causality of maintaining is that at the time of similar arising, the elements hold the continuum of the form caused by the cause in a way that is uninterrupted. The causality of increasing is that at the time of increasing, the elements completely expand the form caused by the cause.

It is so. The twenty-five forms of color, such as blue, should be understood to be established by six aspects: nature, dwelling, benefit and harm, the basis of the agent, the nature of the agent, adornment, and form. Four, ten, eight, one, and one are in order. Among them, what is called having space is the direction that prevents others and is free from touch. What is called space is what appears blue above it. Sound is established by nature, benefit and harm, differentiation by cause, differentiation by explanation, and differentiation by terminology. Nature refers to the meaning held by the ear faculty. Differentiation by teaching refers to the three types of worldly fame, etc. The rest should be understood as appropriate. Among them, what arises from the cause of the great elements that are grasped is, for example, the sound of speech. What arises from the cause of the great elements that are not grasped is, for example, the sound of wood, etc. Both are, for example, the sound of hands and pottery drums, etc. Worldly fame is what is included in the language of worldly people. What is taught by accomplishment is what is taught by the noble ones. Thoroughly conceived refers to what is taught by the heretics. The terms established by the noble ones and the terms established by the non-noble ones should be understood as referring to the eight terms such as seeing. Smell is established by differentiating it through its own nature, benefit and harm, and the occasion. Taste should also be established in the same way. Among them, the co-emergent smell is, for example, the smell of sandalwood, etc. What arises from mixing is, for example, the smell of mixed incense, etc. The smell that arises from transformation is, for example, the smell of ripening fruit, etc. One aspect of what is to be touched is established by being fully clothed, fully measured, touched, fully squeezed, assembled, and the harmony or disharmony of the elements. If water and wind combine, it is cold. If water and earth combine, it is slippery. If the elements are in harmony, one can rest, have strength, and the body becomes larger. A large body should be understood as fearless. Satisfaction is both.
