Some show perfect enlightenment, some pass into nirvana like fire. It is not that they never exist, but that is the body of the Tathagatas. Buddhas are not the Dharma of the saints, nor are they humans and those in evil destinies, nor are they the Dharma of celibacy, but the self is the supreme abode. Contemplate them all well, and there is no contemplation anywhere. Although they can be seen everywhere, they are not the objects of the six senses. Afflictions are subdued but not abandoned, like poison killed by mantra. The Buddhas, from afflictions, attain omniscience by the exhaustion of afflictions. For those endowed with great means, afflictions become limbs of enlightenment. Samsara is also the nature of peace, therefore the Tathagatas are inconceivable. These should be known as twelve kinds of profoundness, namely: birth, nirvana, activity, abiding profoundness, various abidings, number, activity profoundness, manifest enlightenment profoundness, detachment from desire profoundness, abandonment of aggregates profoundness, making sentient beings mature profoundness, seeing profoundness, manifest enlightenment profoundness, nirvana universally shown profoundness, abiding profoundness, body universally shown profoundness, abandonment of afflictions profoundness, inconceivable profoundness. When Bodhisattvas recollect the Buddha as the Dharmakaya, with how many recollections do they recollect? In short, Bodhisattvas cultivate the recollection of the Buddha in seven ways, because they have attained unobstructed manifestation of knowledge in all world realms, therefore the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are of the nature of being masters of all Dharmas, thus they cultivate the recollection of the Buddha. Here are verses: Obscured and not possessing the cause, possessing two certainties, in all realms of sentient beings, the Buddhas have sovereignty. Because the Tathagatas are constantly and uninterruptedly liberated from defilements, therefore the body of the Tathagatas is eternal. Because they are free from all afflictions and obscurations of knowledge.

Ra. Just as the Tathāgatas have no faults whatsoever, and in order not to cut off the continuous accomplishment of all the Buddha's activities, it is said that the Tathāgatas are naturally accomplished. Because the Buddha-fields are completely pure and because they possess great enjoyment of the Dharma, it is said that the Tathāgatas possess great enjoyment. Although they appear in the world, they are not stained by any of the worldly dharmas, so it is said that the Tathāgatas are without stain. Because they fully manifest perfect enlightenment and complete nirvana, they ripen those beings who have not yet been ripened, and they liberate those who have been ripened. Therefore, it is said that the Tathāgatas have great meaning, and one should cultivate the remembrance of the Buddha. Here are the verses: Relying on one's own mind, there is no need to bestow permanence and auspiciousness. The great enjoyments of the Dharma, are generously bestowed, perfectly complete. Not being controlled, extremely vast, many beings desire that. All these qualities of all the Buddhas, should be remembered by those with wisdom. How should one understand that the Buddha-fields of the Buddhas are completely pure? It is like what is said in the introduction to the Sutra of the Hundred Thousand Sections of the Bodhisattva Pitaka: "Bhagavan, a great immeasurable palace adorned with the seven precious jewels, exceedingly blazing. Great rays of light extensively filling immeasurable realms of the world arise, immeasurable distinctions of places are established, the mandala is completely unbroken, it is the sphere of activity that has completely transcended the three realms, it is transcendental, the characteristic of extremely pure consciousness controlled by the power arising from the supreme root of virtue. It is the abode of the Tathāgatas, the support of the great Bodhisattvas, the place where gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, and immeasurable humans and non-humans wander, abiding in the great joy and bliss of the taste of Dharma." Because all the benefits of all sentient beings are accomplished, there is no fault.

Being in the middle position. Being free from all the harms of afflictions. Completely abandoning all maras. Surpassing all possessions. Arranged by the blessings of the Tathagata. Definitely arising from mindfulness and wisdom, as well as great discrimination. The great vehicle of tranquility and insight. Entering from the great gate of liberation, emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. Adorned with immeasurable collections of qualities. It is said that one dwells relying on the arrangement of the great king of precious lotuses. Therefore, the complete purity of this Buddha's field, its perfect color, is also fully revealed. Perfect shape, perfect measure, perfect place, perfect cause, perfect fruit, perfect lord, perfect direction, perfect assistant, perfect teacher, perfect activity, perfect benefactor, perfect fearlessness, perfect support, perfect path, perfect vehicle, perfect gate, and perfect basis are also fully revealed. Furthermore, the enjoyment of the pure Buddha's field is extremely pure. Extremely excellent, extremely faultless, and extremely powerful. Moreover, the realm of Dharma of the Buddhas should be known to possess five activities at all times. Just seeing it protects from harms such as blindness, deafness, and madness, therefore it has the activity of completely protecting sentient beings from harm. Taking them from non-virtuous places, and in order to enter virtuous places, it therefore has the activity of completely protecting from the lower realms. In order to liberate non-Buddhists by non-means, it therefore has the activity of removing the aspirations of diligent ones and firmly establishing them in the Buddha's teachings, completely protecting from non-means. In order to truly accomplish the path that transcends the three realms, it therefore has the activity of completely protecting from the view of the perishable assembly. And Bodhisattvas of uncertain lineage, those who have truly entered other vehicles, and the Shravakas.
