That is called the aggregate of joy. Relying on it, minds can enter calmly here, and there, after being born, they can experience the joy of entering meditation separately for a long time. What is the final aggregate? It is the aggregates of the Arhat's continuum. Relying on it, an Arhat is called the holder of the final body. Then, for a Bhikshu Arhat, a destroyer of defilements, who abides in the ground with aggregates, how many aggregates is he said to be associated with? And how many is he said to be not associated with? Like this, he is definitely associated with one final aggregate. He is definitely not associated with the six objects of complete grasping. He is definitely not associated with all entering objects. He is also definitely not associated with all intervening aggregates. It is also not correct to say that he is associated with the remaining aggregates, nor is it correct to say that he is not associated with them. This is called the establishment of aggregates. The ground with aggregates from the Yogācāra-bhūmi is complete. What is the ground without aggregates? That should also be viewed in three ways: the establishment of the ground, the establishment of Nirvāṇa, and the establishment of synonyms for Nirvāṇa. What is the establishment of the ground? The ground without aggregates is these five grounds, like this: the unconscious state and the ground arising from meditation, as well as the ground of the Śrāvakas, the ground of the Pratyekabuddhas, and the ground of the Bodhisattvas. Each part of these grounds should be established, and their collection should be observed. What is the establishment of Nirvāṇa? The ground without aggregates is the establishment of the two types of Nirvāṇa, namely, the Nirvāṇa of quiescence and the Nirvāṇa without affliction. What is the Nirvāṇa of quiescence? He previously realized, attained, touched, and directly experienced the four quiescences in the ground with aggregates. Now, for that realm of Nirvāṇa without the remainder of aggregates, the four quiescences are also used as synonyms, namely, the quiescence of aggregates, the quiescence of all aggregates, the quiescence of suffering dependent on aggregates, and the quiescence of the fear of arising suffering dependent on aggregates.
