Or like the Dharmakaya that is on the path, or like knowing the Middle Way. The third is completely pure and without dust and dirt, which is exemplified by the wisdom of the Dharmakaya of the fruit of the noble ones. Among them, what is called "like a great cloud" is an example of suchness and wisdom. This also has three aspects: obtaining it by nature in front of the path; obtaining it by entering the path and meditating; and obtaining the ultimate state at the end of the path. The so-called "all" refers to the suchness obtained by nature, and the wisdom, the meaning of suchness pervades all. The so-called "covering" refers to the suchness obtained through meditation. The so-called "pervading" refers to the suchness and wisdom obtained after completion, because it pervades the meaning of suchness, so the object and consciousness pervade and match each other. Among them, the so-called "cloud" is rain itself, so rain also has three meanings: First, just as dust does not rise, the wisdom of nature in front of the path is also completely pure, and has the meaning of being free from all defilements. Second, just as washing away dirt, entering the path also has the meaning of abandoning defilements and abandoning faults. Third, just as sprouting seedlings, seedlings also sprout at the end of the path. Furthermore, the Dharmakaya is like the sky, and the Sambhogakaya is like a cloud. In the Sutra of the Ten Bhumis, it says, for example, the dragon king of the ocean is a great mass of water scattered from the clouds, which cannot be tolerated or possessed by other places except for the great ocean. O sons of the Victorious Ones, likewise, all the Tathagatas entering the secret of the Tathagatas, and the great appearance of Dharma, the great light of Dharma, and the great cloud of Dharma, these are all sentient beings, and all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and even the Bodhisattvas who abide from the first bhumi up to the ninth bhumi, cannot tolerate, possess, or completely grasp.

It is called the Cloud of Dharma. O sons of the Victorious Ones, furthermore, the Bodhisattva who dwells on the Bodhisattva ground, the Cloud of Dharma, through the power and force of their own aspiration, the cloud of loving-kindness and great compassion, the great light of the Dharma, is proclaimed extensively, the sound of thunder is proclaimed exceedingly, the lightning of clairvoyance, knowledge, and fearlessness transforms, the wind of great light rays moves exceedingly, the dense network of clouds of merit and wisdom completely covers, the various lightnings of the body are correctly displayed, the great cloud of Dharma completely liberates, the entire retinue of demons is utterly destroyed, in an instant, a moment, a short time, in the ten directions of the world, the number of those former worlds' extremely fine dust particles, the realms of worlds of that number, also, like the great rain of the stream of virtuous nectar as thought, all the flames of the dust of afflictions arising from ignorance of sentient beings are completely pacified, and also, displaying the complete enlightenment manifested by eight characteristics, and for the sake of completely liberating sentient beings, it is called the Cloud of Dharma, thus it is said. The details should be understood as explained in that very text. In the treatise Ornament of the Sutras, it is said that on the tenth ground, all the causes from samadhi to the door of dharani, completely imbued by hearing, all cover the alaya-consciousness, and gather in a special way, like clouds completely covering and filling the sky, the clouds completely imbued by hearing, in a single moment, from each pore, rain immeasurable and countless Dharma, satisfying all sentient beings who are suitable to be tamed, because it is similar to the nature of clouds, it is called the Cloud of Dharma. It is said that it is for the sake of perfecting the Dharmakaya. In the commentary composed by Master Vasubandhu, it is said that the wisdom that focuses on all the mixed dharmas on this ground is like a great cloud. The door of dharani and the door of samadhi, like complete purity, are completely generated by this wisdom, just as clouds completely generate water. Furthermore

For example, just as a great cloud covers the sky, so too does the wisdom that focuses on all mixed dharmas obstruct and pacify vast obscurations. The phrase 'to perfect the Dharmakaya' means that just as a great cloud gathers and pervades the entire sky, so too does this wisdom perfect and pervade the Dharmakaya, which is the abode of the Bodhisattvas. Here, 'perfection' is understood to mean 'pervasiveness.' In the commentary by the teacher Asanga, it is said that because it focuses on mixture, it is neither focused on mixture nor does it know all dharmas, but rather it knows all dharmas by focusing on mixture, because there is no difference from itself. Therefore, it focuses on the collection of all dharmas, including the Sutra Pitaka. Knowing the object of the common characteristics of all dharmas is like a cloud. The doors of Samadhi and Dharani are like pure water. Wisdom can increase it, just as a cloud increases water. This is because it generates special power. Furthermore, just as a cloud obscures and covers the sky, so too does the wisdom that focuses on the collection of all dharmas obscure and cover the great obscurations of afflictions and knowledge, which are as vast and limitless as the sky. Here, 'to obscure and cover' is synonymous with 'to cut off' and 'to abandon.' Furthermore, just as a cloud fills the sky with water, so too does this wisdom perfect the Dharmakaya, the source of the accumulation of qualities. In the commentary on the Compendium of the Great Vehicle, although the words are different, the meaning does not change. In the Treatise on Establishing Consciousness Only, it is said: 'The cloud of wisdom of the great Dharma is called the cloud of Dharma because it increases the water of many qualities, obstructs the evil destinies like the sky, and perfects the Dharmakaya.' Here, too, there are three meanings. The first is:
