The Bhagavan is the one who has destroyed all faults, or is endowed with qualities such as glory. "As many as" means all without exception. "Staying," "living," and "existing" refer to the three kayas, such as the Dharmakaya, in order. "Please consider me" means requesting your attention. My request is in accordance with the Dharma, because the Buddhas have attained the nature of not forgetting, it is impossible that they would not remember even a single sentient being. If that is the case, why do they not liberate sentient beings from these sufferings of samsara? It is because of the faults of sentient beings themselves. For example, the sun's orb is fully endowed with splendor, and its light illuminates all directions, but the blind cannot see it. Therefore, in the Ratnakuta Sutra, it is also said: Although the blind do not see the sun, the sun is not non-existent; it shines on the whole world. Those with eyes know that the sun has risen, and everyone engages in their own activities. Thus, this meaning is extensively explained. Those objects to be confessed, which are obscurations, are things like what I have done. "I" am the doer. This life and the beginningless and endless lives are the time of doing. In samsara, the other places of birth are the places of doing. In general, the sinful nature of actions is called "sinful deeds," etc. In any case, one's own actions that become the root of suffering, and even if others are not like that, rejoicing in the actions of others with delight. In particular, the heavy ripening is referring to the property of stupas, etc. Among the things not given, the heaviest is stealing the offerings made by faithful patrons for the stupas of the eight great sacred places, or seizing the property owned by all the monks of the four directions and not owned by individuals. These will cause unbearable suffering to be experienced in the three lower realms of hell, hungry ghosts, and animals, and are difficult to purify, so the ripening is heavy. The cause of extremely painful offenses is the five inexpiable sins, etc. These sins such as killing one's father, etc., whoever commits them, etc., are extremely difficult to endure.

The beings in the uninterrupted hell, who experience the suffering of the hot hell, are called uninterrupted because nothing can obstruct their rebirth into suffering that is more special than other hells. Therefore, these are also called the cause of extremely painful sins. Non-virtue that encompasses all bases is what is called the ten non-virtues, etc. Experiencing the respective ripening results of the three lower realms is the karma of all bases, such as the body. The three that rely on the body are killing, etc., the four that rely on speech are lying, etc., and the ones that rely on the mind are malice, etc. These three encompass all bases and are called the collection of paths of non-virtuous karma. Other obscurations that are in accordance with this are what are called karmic obscurations, etc. If these are done, they will lead to a birth that is incapable of accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others, and that obstructs the attainment of leisure and endowment. As it is said: "Mind hell, hungry ghosts, and animals, Barbarians, unconscious gods, and wrong views, Dislike for the Buddha, dumbness, and lack of leisure, These are the eight states of no leisure." As it is said, one will be born in these places. Abandoning the profound Dharma, not fearing minor downfalls, being stingy and attached to possessions, etc., not giving away even a little, etc., not respecting the Buddha, etc., unskillfully contemplating unconscious samadhi, causing others to lose their eye faculty, etc., following wrong views, not practicing aspirations. Thus, all those that are too numerous to count and become extremely subtle are (karmic obscurations). How to confess these things? It is what is called "The Buddhas, the Bhagavat," etc. Confessing sins in front of the Buddhas and then taking vows. Among them, becoming wisdom is the ultimate truth of suchness (Tibetan: ཇི་ལྟ་བའི་རྣམ་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: यथाभूतस्वरूप, Sanskrit Romanization: yathābhūtasvarūpa, Literal meaning: the aspect of reality) and the conventional truth of suchness (Tibetan: ཇི་སྙེད་པའི་རང་བཞིན་, Sanskrit Devanagari: यावत्स्वरूप, Sanskrit Romanization: yāvatsvarūpa, Literal meaning: the nature of all), having the nature of knowing all things. Becoming the eye is knowing with the five eyes completely purified. Becoming power is knowing all things without error. Becoming a measure is because it is power. Knowing is through wisdom. Seeing is through the eye.
