Guarding (patience) means thinking that if I do harm, it will cause pain to others' minds. Taking the perfect acceptance of the fruit of patience as a prerequisite, one walks the path of the Brahma world, and therefore it is regarded as patience, and so on, it is said. The fruit also has three aspects: perfect wealth, perfect abandonment, and perfect fruit. They are shown in order with four words, six words, and one word. Perfect wealth also has two types: worldly wealth and transcendental wealth. They are shown in order with the first two words. Among them, the Brahma world refers to the Brahma hosts and so on of the form realm. Its path is the cause of attainment, which is the four immeasurables, and patience is also in accordance with these four immeasurables, so it is called walking the path. A person who abides in patience, because they can obtain beautiful appearances and many attendants, etc., it is said to experience the perfection of gods and humans. A person who abides in patience is associated with obtaining the beautiful marks and signs of the Tathagata and the voice that emits the sound of Brahma. All faults are to be shown. Harmful thoughts, etc., are to be explained, and the rest has already been explained in the previous text. External opponents refer to demons and heretics, etc., who are also defeated by patience, and therefore are regarded as patience. Completely surpassing all harm from others is because no sentient being will harm the person who possesses patience. The perfection of patience is also the cause of obtaining all the Buddha's teachings, so the words are connected in this way. Taking the patience of enduring harm as a prerequisite, what is completely pure patience, it is said, and so on. Above, it was said that not harming sentient beings is regarded as patience, which is not completely pure, but rather that even if others cause harm, one does not retaliate, that is completely pure patience. To show this reason, it is said, what is completely pure patience. The causes of harm are the three: speech, body, and mind, which are also related to harsh language and the body.
